Located in the famous Movie Colony, you are within walking distance of downtown Palm Springs, where you will discover downtown shopping, Ruth Hardy Park, art galleries, the Palm Springs Art Museum, and many fine restaurants. A serene and beautiful place in the desert awaits you, only 5 minutes by taxi from the airport.

We spent a very relaxing week at Lima Modern. The house is very comfortable with everything you might need. The heated pool and bikes an extra plus. Walking distance or biking to downtown, a nice local park, grocery store and about anything else you might need.The host is very responsive.

One of the best rentals we have ever stayed at. My husband, daughter and I had a delightful time in this beautifully designed home with every amenity you could think of, including a well heated pool, perfect for November in Palm Springs. The owner Francie is the most caring, responsive and considerate host - she helped make our stay comfortable in so many ways. We will definitely be back!

Our group was eagerly excited to enjoy some sun during the middle of the PNW winter.
Less than 48 hours before check-in, I received a hard to follow email asking to fill out Good Neighbor form, which I recommend reviewing before planning your trip to Palm Springs giving better planning info, as it may not be great for a girl’s trip or bachelorette party. We had several back-and-forth emails, as the form sent to me was password protected and I had to creatively complete. When I then received an email day of check-in that it wasn’t filled out correctly, I had to scramble to find a way to send the form back. When we did arrive, we found a copy of the form printed out, pre-filled out, which was really disheartening given the back-and-forth I had been through.
Unfortunately, upon arriving we realized the pool was too cold to comfortably use. I willingly accepted and paid the charges to heat the pool and charge to have the pool guy come out and turn it on. However, due to an issue, a heated pool was not an option during our stay. Francie did refund it, but I was frustrated by how many times I had to follow up on the issue and ask for the refund.
Overall, we had a nice trip, however all these issues compounded on each other, it didn't exactly feel like a vacation and felt more like a work project. Our experience would have been elevated with more considerate and proactive communication about the required forms and rules as well as just how cold the pool was going to be.
