Details The Getaway is a beautiful 1 bedroom with separate bunkroom (not bunks in a hallway alcove), and sleeps up to five (5) with king master bedroom suite, bunk bed and memory foam sofa sleeper in the living room plus 2 bathrooms and gorgeous Armstrong Prysm floors throughout. A washer and dryer are included in the unit. Inside The Getaway, water surrounds you outside the floor-to-ceiling patio doors in the living area. Whether you choose to play chef or mock in laughter as you take a break from cooking duties, you’ll have a fully stocked kitchen with stainless steel appliances and chalk painted cabinets at your service. Enjoy spectacular sunsets from your private balcony and lose track of time altogether! The Getaway is just across the corridor from the elevator, so it almost feels like having your own elevator car.
Resort & Location Tidewater Beach Resort is situated on the peaceful west end of Panama City Beach and within walking distance of Pier Park, Dusty's, Hook'd and Margaritaville. Stay as busy or as relaxed as you want to be, and enjoy the property's fabulous amenities with two large outdoor pools and hot tubs, one heated indoor pool, fitness center, steam room and media center with free movie showings, and on-site restaurant and store. The condo was beautiful! Awesome beach views, we loved the breach chairs. Our only complaint was the out door pools were cold. Our kids didnt mind but it was just too cold for thw adults to enjoy. The room was clean. The host was great. The beach was perfect and clean. Thank you for amazing memories.

The property was great. The views were beautiful, the condo was clean, and my kids loved the bunk room. The property included beach chair service which was a nice perk.

The room was very nice. When we got there the check in about the luggage carts was confusing and having to leave your driver's license. But overall had a good time.

Tidewater 1216 was a beautifully decorated, well stocked unit with beautiful views. We loved the unit. The master bed/bath was perfect. The kids room with double bunks is extremely small. The bunk beds are wall to wall with a very narrow area in front. My daughter couldn't even keep/open her suitcase in her room. She had to keep it in the hallway. The bunk beds were comfortable. The elevator situation was horrible. We were on the 12th floor so hauling luggage and our belongings up and down 12 flights of stairs was not an option. When we first arrived 2 of the elevators were not working. The one closest to our room was still operating though the door was slamming shut and when the elevator would move up or down it sounded like a machine gun firing. It was repaired after a couple days. Even after they had all the elevators operable the lines for elevators were usually 10-15 minutes with many people giving up and taking the stairs. If people stayed in line some of the wait times would've easily been 20-30 minutes. We are a younger family so we took the stairs several times during our stay. The condo is right on the beach so we enjoyed watching the sun rise and set from the balcony. We saw the blue angels and a couple other jets fly by occasionally which was a nice surprise. Overall the condo itself was clean and comfortable. The staff in the hotel was ok. We experienced a few very friendly staff members, but some were very unwelcoming and rude. We talked with several guests throughout our stay and overall our observations of staff and elevator issues was the norm and apparently both ongoing issues according to those who stay there more frequently.
