About this house rental
Easy access to the beautiful beaches of 30A, just a one to two-minute walk and your toes are in the sand. With direct beach access unaffected by the Customary Use issue, you can enjoy the shoreline freely, along with access to umbrellas and chairs during your stay at Made in the Shade.
This unique 1940s old Florida-style cottage lets you enjoy your 30A vacation while feeling removed from the hustle and bustle. Conveniently close to Seaside but tucked away just enough, this is a perfect area for bike rides and is minutes from fantastic dining and shopping. The world-famous Seaside attractions and activities are just a short bike ride or walk away.
You'll love the large screened-in front porch with two rocking chairs and a hammock, plus a spacious back deck shaded by magnificent live oaks. It is an ideal spot to enjoy fresh air and Gulf breezes. This house is the one for those looking to unwind and make the most of their time by the coast.
Sleeping Arrangements:
Bedroom 1: King bed.
Bedroom 2: Queen bed, 2 sets of twin-over-twin bunks
Sofa in the living room pulls out to a queen bed.

Head down Gardenia Street and directly across 30A is your boardwalk to beach access.

Head East and discover more of Seagrove Beach plus the wonderful coastal communities of Alys Beach and Rosemary Beach. Enjoy exploring the boutique shops, fabulous restaurants, and beautiful state parks in each of these communities.

For the kitchen this includes: 1 roll of paper towels, 1 dish sponge, 1 dish soap, 2 dishwasher pods, and 1 liner for each trashcan. For each bathroom it includes: 1 roll of toilet paper, 1 set of soap/body wash/shampoo/conditioner/lotion. For towels you will receive: 1 body towel/1 washcloth per guest and 2 hand towels per bathroom, plus 2 washing machine pods.

Our family loved staying at this eclectic beach cottage. It’s just a short, easy walk to the beach. It’s also walkable to restaurants and the seaside shops, which was nice because parking isn’t very easy in seaside. Our favorite place to hang out was on the front porch.

Made is the Shade is a blast from the past! It’s a quaint little cottage style that is nicely decorated and very comfortable! Just a short walk to the beach and even with construction work going on close to it really quiet. Every thing was in working order and clean. We really enjoyed our stay!!!

Location of the house in unbeatable. The condition of the house was unfortunate. From the pictures I knew we weren't renting an updated house, but feeling grossed out by everything around the house isn't what we expected. Was suppose to have 2 baths, but one didn't have a shower head or a way of turning on the shower portion so we ended up with 4 people sharing 1 Bathroom. Nothing has been maintained in the house, looks like after each renter they do a quick clean and call it good. House has potential but needs some love and a couple of bucks to make it suitable for a renter.
