The space
With a spacious and refined indoor/outdoor layout, Joya del Mar offers 360 degree views of the Sea of Cortez, Islas del Coronado and Carmen and the Sierra Gigante mountains.
Four spacious guest suites, each with ensuite bathroom, and a fifth full bathroom off the main living area. Ample outdoor lounging space with views of sea, beach and mountains. Loreto Bay is an unspoiled paradise with something for everyone to enjoy from fishing, stand up paddleboarding, beach walks, hiking, island tours, ancient cave paintings to see and the historic original California mission in Loreto town. The cuisine is incredible with wonderful dining options within walking and golf cart distance from the house.
Enjoy a cocktail on the rooftop terrace, use the four seater golf cart to explore Loreto Bay's many restaurants, shops and 18 hole golf course. Or swim, snorkel, paddle board, take a tour of the islands, fish, golf and visit Loreto's historic mission, cave paintings, hiking and beaches. A second golf cart is included for guest use pending availability.
This protected area within the Sea of Cortez was called "the world's aquarium" by Jacques Cousteau and boasts a dazzling array of marine life and gorgeous beaches and islands. World travelers will be amazed by the quality of the beaches, snorkeling, diving, paddle boarding, cuisine and culture found only a two-hour flight from Los Angeles.
Staff is available to assist with reserving additional services for guests including:

We loved staying at Joya Del Mar. There were a few issues while we were there, and the property management team was very responsive and helpful. Some things could use a bit of maintenance, but hopefully they are addressing those things. It was absolutely wonderful having a private, heated pool and a hot tub right on the beach. The property would be great for multiple families, it’s huge!

The property was better than the pictures conveyed. We found the property manager to be very helpful and responsive. This is one of the best properties we have rented on VRBO.

We loved everything about this stay! A beautiful home in a fantastic location. The bedrooms were spacious & 3 of the 4 rooms had amazing views. There were a ton of outdoor living spaces inside the home. The home was very comfortable & they provided more than enough linens and pillows. The beds were very comfortable. Truly a luxury stay. The pool & beach right out front were fantastic and we went swimming in both daily. The SUPs were great and the golf carts worked perfectly. We loved our stay!
