About this house rental
Skye View is impressive inside and out. The welcoming stone front is just part of this wonderful mountain home with rustic details (a tongue and groove pine ceiling, stone fireplaces, log frame beds) that carry throughout. The feel may be rustic, but the amenities are abundant including WiFi, a house-wide wireless sound system, a nicely tucked away outdoor hot tub, two 7 ft picnic tables on the wrap-around deck and 3 Smart TVs (52" in game room, 46" in great room and 42" in bonus room). There are also 22" TVs in all 7 bedrooms.

The overall house was great for our large group. Each bedroom came with two sets of bath towels on the bed, house was clean and check in was very easy. The temperature in the house even during hot summer days was great. We even saw dear in the backyard which was so serene. Would highly recommend the house for any large group.

loved this beautiful property the outside fireplace really helped during the chilly nights & was perfect for our large group! very clean & there was so many deer which we loved great location close to lake the hot tub was even clean an warm my only suggestion would be for the hot tub to have lights around it it’s pretty dark at night but otherwise if you are thinking about this place definitely book it thanks again for a wonderful weekend

House was perfect for 8 guys to enjoy another weekend in the poconos golfing. Check-out was how a rental property should handle check-out, well done.

Our family had a really good time. There were lots of places for the family to gather both indoor and outdoors. However, we had a challenge with communication. Compared to other places we have stayed, the hosts were not as responsive or communicative. For example, when we arrived one room smelled like cigarettes smoke. This was concerning since some of our guests had severe allergies. When we called we were directed to leave a message and that someone would call us back. However, after multiple voicemails and messages in the VRBO app, we did not get a response that day and had to make alternate sleep arrangements.
The next day, on our first full day, we also had challenges with the internet. That morning I called and left another message. Finally a gentleman reached out and came to the house to help us with the internet. It took a few hours but he was able to replace the router and get the internet back up and running. He was friendly and helpful, but told us that he only dealt with IT issues.
To be fair, the host also responded to our concern about the outdoor garbage bins being completely full when we arrived. However, the situation with the bedroom was never addressed. It was frustrating to know that when I had a concern it may take quite some time to get a response, if at all. Overall, our experience was mostly positive and our kids made great memories.
