If booking last minute, you may be required to stop by our main office to show your photo ID and the credit card used on the reservation. We loved the inside of Timberlodge, exactly what we were looking for. Very clean and accommodating. However the outside was very disappointing. Dirty, dusty, spider webs all over the decks and front porch. The gazebo was in very bad condition. You sent someone to clean it, but it was beyond their control. The furniture was terrible, the cushions were filthy and rotted. It need power washed and treated for spiders. It is too bad we couldn't enjoy sitting there as we spent lots of time at the water.The cleaners said they would report it and I sent a text after they cleaned but never heard back from you.

Timberlodge was exactly what we were looking for. We brought our leadership team to Deep Creek for a planning retreat and this house exceeded our expectations.

The location is near perfect, close to the water with its own dock, and close to amenities. It has lots of space and can accommodate a large group easily. There is only one bedroom on the main floor, with a flight of stairs separating it from lake access. For most, this would not be an issue, but if any participant requires ADA-compliant facilities, this would not be a good choice. There are multiple deferred maintenance issues in the house, including a kitchen sink faucet, an infestation of small ants in the bathroom of the first floor bedroom (easily treated with Raid), worn-out outdoor furniture, etc. Otherwise, this is an ideal location for families with young children.
