Ma'alaea Surf, Unit E5, the most glorious and romantic sunset views at is why the architect who designed Ma'alaea Surf chose this unit for his home. Steps away from the wonderful walking beach and pool. This fully equipped unit features flat screen tv, cable, Wi-Fi, central AC, fully furnished kitchen, includes all linens, towels, beach towels and housekeeping. It also includes tennis and pickleball, convenient parking and washer and dryers located in guest laundry rooms on property.
Enjoy a majestic ocean view dinner and whale watching from the large patio (lanai). The maximum occupancy allowed in this unit is 6. All units at Ma'alaea Surf are non-smoking.
Our property is NOT impacted by the recent news regarding potential short-term rental (STR) restrictions in Maui. Because we are zoned as a hotel property, we are exempt from the County of Maui's proposed STR regulations.

Great! Though it would have been nice to know beforehand that there was not any hair shampoo or conditioner or shower soap before getting to the property so we could have brought more from home.

Everything was lovely and the grounds were well maintained! However, the swimming pools were not at all heated and too cold to be enjoyed. The ocean felt several degrees warmer than the pool. For this reason alone I hesitate to recommend this property and I will be unlikely to stay again. The ice maker in our fridge was broken but management provided a (broken) plastic ice tray. We repaired the icemaker ourselves so we didn’t have to buy ice daily. The contact person was very responsive, which we appreciated very much.
