About this apartment rental
Our remodeled 3 bedroom, 2 bath condo at East Rim (Unit D-14) is located right across from Purgatory Lodge and offers the ultimate convenience in all seasons.
The condo features amazing views of the Needles Range and Spud Mountain and is perfect for multiple families. East Rim is centrally located to the main skier plaza and is just a short walk to the fastest and biggest high speed lift on the mountain, Purgatory Express. Additionally, the ski run to Lift 7 runs adjacent to the condo. This property is unique because is just a step away from the hustle and bustle, restaurants, shops and skiing amenities of the primary base village at Purgatory Resort, but it offers a more private and quiet existence with views that cannot be beat in the region. You have immediate access to all the resort amenities, and fantastic value in this fully remodeled and exceptional residence.
Bed Configuration (all 3 bedrooms are downstairs):
Master - Queen
Bedroom 2 - Queen
3rd - Bunk Bed (single over single) - Note access to the bunk room is thru the Master Bedroom
Main Living Space - Queen Pull Out Sofa
There is a full bathroom upstairs and downstairs (not attached to a bedroom) as well as a washer and dryer (laundry detergent provided) and a BBQ gas grill on the deck.
This home is pet friendly! We allow a maximum of 2 dogs max and the pet fee is $40/day (for a max $250 per stay).
For an optional 4% resort fee, you will have access to the Durango Mountain Club which includes an outdoor heated pool with slide, outdoor hot tub and workout facility. The 4% resort fee included in the quote is the required resort fee that must be charged and does not allow access to the Durango Mountain Club. When booking, just advise if you would like the extra 4% resort fee added.
Book at least a week and a 10% discount is automatically applied (Excludes Christmas/New Years).
Please note that, like most properties in the area, this home does not have AC, as it is uncommon for homes at this elevation. Temperatures inside the property are easily managed by using fans and opening the windows at night when temperatures drop into the 40s.

Great location and the condo had everything that we needed for our stay. The primary bathroom downstairs with the three bedrooms didn’t offer a lot of space for four people to get ready or store their toiletries. We made it work (made the kids use the upstairs bathroom) but it could have been more convenient. The beds and bedding were very comfortable. Kitchen was perfect for what we needed and the views did not disappoint. The check in instructions said we didn’t need the parking pass in the summer but we did receive a parking violation warning for not having the permit in our car. One thing to note which we did not even think about is since this is a pet friendly rental, the stairs from the parking area to the front door are metal grates. Makes sense in the winter, however we had to walk our dogs up/down a dirt/grass incline to avoid the stairs. Glad we didn’t get an upstairs unit for this reason. Overall, we were very happy with this rental and we would stay again.

Could not have enjoyed this rental more. The kitchen was WELL stocked with everything we needed and more! It was perfectly situated between the bunny hills and the upper area which was perfect as three of our children were learning to ski. The beds were very comfortable and we loved the layout.

Beautiful condo with the ideal location. Truly a ski in ski out. Great communication when plumbing issue arose. I would highly recommend this property.

Everything was great. Pool and hot tub right across the street were a hit with the adults and the kids. The bedroom with the bunk beds was perfect for the family of 4 . The second bedroom was a little bit small for a couple but we made due.
