Deer Valley Drive Ski Home | Three-Bedroom Old Town Home, No Car Needed, Five-Minute Walk to Main Street

Deer Valley Drive Ski Home is a three-bedroom home in Old Town Park City, five minutes on foot to Historic Main Street with a Park City Transit free bus stop forty feet from the front door. No car needed. This is a three-bedroom Old Town home, transit-accessible, best suited for couples, small families, and small ski groups who want character over new construction.

Best Suited For

Built for groups of four to six who want Old Town walkability without the parking friction that defines most Main Street rentals. Two off-street spaces and the free bus at the door mean a car is optional, not required. Not ideal for groups of seven or more, travelers expecting ski-in/ski-out access, or travelers who prefer new-construction finish over older character.

The Property at a Glance

- Three bedrooms, four bathrooms, two king en-suites

- No car needed. Free bus stop forty feet from the door, five-minute walk to Main Street

- Private hot tub on rear deck

- Two off-street parking spaces (one garage, one driveway)

- Wood-burning fireplace in the living room

- Updated kitchen, dining for six

- Dedicated ski and snowboard storage

- Two outdoor decks

Layout and Sleeping Configuration

The home sleeps six across two king suites and one twin room. The primary bedroom holds a king with en suite bath. The second bedroom has a king bed and a private bath. The third bedroom holds two twin beds and shares a hall bath. A fourth full bathroom sits on the main level, unusual for a three-bedroom Old Town home and useful when the living spaces are in use. The den functions as flex space rather than a bedroom. A queen sofa bed is available for occasional overflow, but the home is honestly a sleeps-six product. Dining seats six. Parking accommodates two vehicles between the garage and driveway.

The Home

The main level opens to a living room anchored by a wood-burning fireplace, the kind of room that reads as lived-in rather than staged, with a front deck overlooking the surrounding neighborhood and the rooflines of Old Town. The kitchen has been updated with modern appliances and handles meal prep for six without crowding. The dining table seats six directly off the kitchen. The rear deck is the private one, set back from the street, with the hot tub and enough space to handle the after-ski wind-down without the audience a front-facing tub would draw. Ski and snowboard storage sits near the entry, sized for six sets of gear without the mudroom chaos most Old Town homes inherit from their historic footprints.

Location and Access

No car needed for a stay at this property in Park City. The Park City Transit free bus stops forty feet from the front door, with service running on Park Avenue to Park City Mountain Village and connecting to the broader transit system reaching Deer Valley and Canyons Village. Historic Main Street is a five-minute walk from restaurants, shops, the Egyptian Theatre, and the Town Lift base. For travelers who do drive: ten minutes to Deer Valley Snow Park, twelve minutes to Canyons Village, and forty-five minutes to Salt Lake City International Airport. The home is on Deer Valley Drive in Old Town. The street name references the road, not the resort submarket.

Seasonal Notes

Winter: walkable Main Street dining after ski days, with the free bus at the door removing the need to drive to Park City Mountain or Deer Valley. Summer: Main Street's restaurant and gallery density within five minutes on foot, with the rear deck and hot tub functioning as the daily anchor.

The location could not have been better! Perfect for walking to Main Street; bus stop right across the street to get to Deer Valley. The common spaces were comfortable and large enough for our family of 7. Note that the den bed is NOT a queen (it's full) and can accommodate 1 adult who doesn't mind a sofa bed. Would stay here again!

We stayed for four nights over New Years with two families of four with all teen aged kids. The space was large enough to have everyone in the family room or at the dining table together when we wanted. Love having two master suites both large enough to spread out luggage and belongings. The home was spotless and not a spec of dust. The bathrooms and kitchen all had updated countertops and bathrooms had updated sink fixtures while the kitchen had updated appliances. Also the sectional in the family room was newer, large and comfortable. The home and furnishings in general are a little older and well worn but still in good shape for the most part. There was peeling wallpaper in several rooms. The beds were comfortable and the bedding and pillows were nice and very clean. There were plenty of extra towels and pillows. And also the home was well stocked with seasonings, coffee filters, paper goods, and trash bags which is always appreciated. I also love that there was hand soap in the bathrooms and kitchen. That’s overlooked most of the time. The hot tub was ready to go and easy to operate. A bit of furniture on the deck would be nice to put your towel and clothes on when getting in and out. There is nothing out there. One thing to note is the water gets very hot. Scalding even. So be careful. The water heater may need to be adjusted or a child (or adult) could easily be burned. The property management was very responsive with questions and concerns. Would definitely stay again.

Great house, fully stocked kitchen for cooking. Place was a short walk to main street. Recommend for anyone wanted a welcoming home to stay in while visiting Park City!

The pull out couch in small den is of such poor quality it shouldn’t be listed as a bed
