About this house rental
Large, sunny common areas and 6 cozy bedrooms (each with TV) make Acorn Lodge the perfect choice for large family gatherings. An ample dining table seats 10, and a 320 sq. ft. deck allows for uncrowded outdoor space with plenty of room to barbecue and still be in on the fun. Adding to its appeal are a well appointed game room (containing an 8' pool table, old school free play arcade game, 55” TV), and a nicely sheltered hot tub area. Lots of comfortable seating and wireless Internet for those indoor types as well. It is also in close proximity to both Big Boulder and Split Rock resorts and many local dining establishments. There is no wonder as to why Acorn Lodge is a very popular year round favorite.

Great time, plenty of room for everyone and the lake near by was a great touch! Very clean as well. Will likely book again in the future!

Beautiful location! Nice house, pretty clean, spacious a little outdated ( like no smart TV). Personally for us - not enough light, with all lights on it still very “dimly”. Kitchen has enough plates, mugs etc for a large group of people but you have to bring your own dish sponge - they don’t provide. There is a coffee machine (two actually) but don’t forget to bring a coffee pods and coffee filters! - they don’t provide!Paper towels- bring some, we had almost finished roll of paper towel left for us. And don’t forget about stuff like shampoo and body wash - there will be none. ( probably hair dryer is also a good idea to bring).These thing is bare minimum , it was my first house where wasn’t provided a dish sponge or was no salt in the kitchen! It was funny that we had to go to store, to buy a dish sponge to clean their dishes ( and yes, there is a dishwasher and pods - but come on, when you cook you always clean some dishes). AnywayHost was very short with his answers he didn’t seem to care. Overall these things didn’t ruin the stay, but would be nice to have essentials and don’t worry about it.
