About this house rental
The views really are as good as the pictures show when you're enjoying a sunset directly on Lake Ontario. You'll not only vacation in style at The Vista, but you'll find yourself truly relaxing in its beautiful atmosphere. I could literally stare for hours off of the back deck looking out to Toronto. The Jacuzzi hot tub allows you to enjoy the view all year long!
With two official bedrooms and a very open layout, you'll have plenty of space. The open floor plan on the main level is great for entertaining.

My friends and I booked this house for a girls trip over a long weekend in Mid-May. Overall, we had a great time at this relaxing home and loved the views of the lake, especially the gorgeous sunsets.As others have commented, there are a few considerations for prospective guests and suggestions for the owner/property manager.Considerations:- We unknowingly booked our trip during a gnat/midge swarming period. The bugs didn't bite, but there were millions of them everywhere and it was difficult to enjoy the deck during the day. - The main upstairs bedroom is open to the rest of the house, which was fine for our trip but might not be great if you're expecting privacy or are a light sleeper.Suggestions for the owner/property manager- The hot tub needs maintenance. We were only able to use it one night out of three because it was either not heating or got overheated. One night the temperature got up to 110 degrees, which is extremely dangerous.- The kitchen needs to be restocked with a complete sets of glasses, dishware, and silverware. There were only 2 real glasses and 3 forks, and the kitchen needed a few more essentials. - The dining table is cool, but all the chairs have loose bolts and everything needs to be tightened. - The house needs general maintenance and sprucing up. We would give this house a 7/10. It's a great location and the views are extraordinary, but some general TLC and stocking the kitchen for cooking would make it a stellar experience.

This quiet home on the lake was just what we were looking for, and we left feeling relaxed and restored.The sunsets are spectacular.Sergio was lovely to deal with, and we would happily come back.

Great views! Interior was nice. Kitchen stocked minimally. Utensils were not fully stocked, bring forks! Exterior could use a good cleaning and the property needs maintaining. Lawn wasn't mowed & landscape was overgrown.
