We had a great week at Katmandunes. The location was outstanding and the house was set up well. We probably spent most of our time sitting on the deck or the beach and both were easy given the setup of the house. Any amenity we needed was there and easy to access. The inside of the house was very nice and easy to keep that way. My only minor feedback would be to adjust the type of deadbolts used on the back doors. Weather is probably hard on those doors and it was more difficult than it should have been to lock. Very minor concern. We loved it and will book again for next year.

I've had the Outer Banks on my travel bucket list for a long time, but it always got pushed down the list for various reasons. When I finally got serious about making it happen, I was pleased to find this beautiful home thru ABnB/Carolina Shores. It fit all my criteria: beachfront location, well-maintained, plenty of space to spread out, big deck, great bedrooms/bathrooms, awesome views, pet-friendly and close proximity to all that I wanted to explore on the Outer Banks. The hot tub and additional porches off the upstairs bedrooms were a bonus. The Carolina Shores' staff we dealt with for reservations & check-in, etc. were friendly and helpful. We will definitely consider them again when we return in the future.
