KH4117- Enjoy ocean sounds & beach views from this 3 BR Oceanfront home!

Property was very clean. Impressively so being on the beach. We spent as much time as possible on the patio watching the waves. Without it being covered we usually had to wait until the shadow of the house fell on the porch to enjoy it. Lot on either side is vacant so it’s more private than expected which was great. The dunes behind the house were gorgeous. Sunrise was spectacular. Access to the beach was easiest on the far side of the brown house to the south (2 lots over). Besides the lack of morning shade the only issue is the downstairs queen bed needs a new mattress. My husband actually slept on the couch because it was more comfortable than the bed. Kitchen was extremely well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, utensils, etc. Would definitely rent again if the bed was replaced.

Loved starting every day with a cup of coffee on the deck and then walking on the beach as the day got started. House has been upgraded since we were there last. Everything is well set up, well appointed, and in good condition. It was the perfect size for our family of four. Really a wonderful week in OBX. My only complaint is not wanting to leave!

With dunes on both sides and no neighboring homes, we had a wide stretch of beach practically to ourselves — it felt private and peaceful, which was wonderful.The home itself was ideal for our family of five, giving everyone plenty of space to relax. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the pots, pans, and dishes we needed, which made cooking most of our meals easy and enjoyable. The property was spotless when we arrived, and we really appreciated the outdoor shower and foot wash station that helped keep the sand outside.This was our first time renting a home in OBX, and it was such a great experience. Since we flew in from out of state, we packed light. The only small surprise was that things like trash bags, laundry detergent, and dishwasher pods weren’t provided, as we’ve had them available in other vacation rentals. It wasn’t a problem since stores are close by, but next time we’ll know to bring a few of those extras with us.Overall, this home was everything we hoped for and more. We truly loved our stay and would highly recommend this home!
