The Space:
Perfectly located in the heart of downtown Village of Pinehurst and walking distance of Pinehurst Course #2, the exquisite Tremont Cottage is rich in history and tradition. The Tremont features a private pool, a fenced-in backyard, a gas fire pit, an outside dining table, and a pool table inside, making it an ideal retreat for memorable experiences and comforts of home.
Set in the historic village, Tremont Cottage was built in 1897 by Pinehurst founder James Walker Tufts. Renovations and upgrades blend the charm of an original Tufts Cottage with modern conveniences. The Tremont has been carefully prepared to make guests feel welcomed and enjoy all the comforts of home.

Great property and great location. Everything about the stay was excellent so definitely 5 stars. The only feedback I have is that the parking instructions are unclear if you have more than 3 cars (ie more than can fit in the driveway). Adding parking options to the instruction book would definitely help. Other than that we loved the property and would definitely stay again. Super nice location.

Very comfortable and clean. Location was close and we took the Pinehurst shuttles from the Holly inn which was a 2 minute walk. Plenty of beds and rooms. Kitchen stocked with paper products/ trash bags/paper towels/spices and plenty of cooking and serving dishes. Laundry room stocked with detergent and dryer sheets even a first aid kit that came in handy. The pool table was fun and they had plenty of puzzles and board games. The pool and grill area was perfect and relaxing and pool towels were provided. Plenty of televisions with you tube tv and lots of streaming services. We would definitely stay again:)

Our family of four stayed for the US Kids World Championship. We had a wonderful stay. We could walk to everything in Pinehurst. The house had everything we needed. We would definitely stay again.
