About this house rental
This top unit in the duplex property cabin features a large private deck overlooking a lush forested yard. This convenient location is near Yosemite, 4 miles from hiking, fishing and water sports at Bass Lake, within 4 miles of supermarkets, pharmacies, a movie theater, shopping, and antique shops, and 12 miles from entertainment at a large Indian casino. Children can enjoy the large play area here or can walk down the hill to the private community park and swimming hole (with parent supervision).
This newly renovated and newly furnished 3 bedroom, 2 bath property is equipped with: a master bedroom with a Cal. King bed, LED smart TV with satellite and Netflix and an adjoining bathroom. The second bedroom has a Queen size bed. The third room has a full over full size bunk bed and LED TV with satellite and Netflix. There is a second full bathroom in the hallway and an HE washer and dryer with detergent provided. Bed linens and towels are also provided. In the living room there are two couches (one with a queen size sofa bed that is not recommended for adults) and two recliners. The wood burning fireplace adds to the mountain atmosphere and may be used during designated burn season. Free WiFi is provided and you can watch a movie with the family on the large LED TV or have a family game night (games and cards provided). The dining table has seating for 8. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to cook a perfect family meal, including a large refrigerator with icemaker, microwave, full size range, dishwasher with detergent, coffee maker, waffle maker, crock pot, coffee, tea, sugar, and some spices. A gas BBQ grill and picnic tables are located on your private patio. This cabin sleeps 8 comfortably (4 adults and 4 children recommended for your comfort). This home has air conditioning and central heating.

The hosts were extremely kind, friendly and very helpful. The place is wonderful and very clean and exactly as shown in pics. Excellent place for family. I would definitely recommend and will stay next time in the area.

The owners were wonderful and made us feel very welcome. I enjoyed reading the stories behind many of the antiques that they personally collected through the years; it was one of many special touches. You could tell that they put a lot of thought into making this home feel inviting...as if it were your own vacation home. All the towels, dishes, cups, and utensils were in sets, not "leftovers" like I've seen in other vacation rentals. The owners even included little niceties that you may have forgotten such as tea bags, cream, and sugar packets. It was a nice place to "come home" to and relax after busy days visiting Yosemite.
The kids (11 and 13) and adults enjoyed the tetherball and horseshoes. The kitchen and bathrooms had new appliances and fixtures. It looked like they had been recently remodeled. The living room and patio were very nice and the dining table could accommodate all 8 of us. Having a kitchen was helpful in preparing breakfast and lunch at home. There was also a new washer and drier, though we didn't use them.
I highly recommend this property!
