The Luxury Yellowstone Chalet is a is a modern 4 bed / 3 bath cabin that captures the quintessential Montana experience. It's nestled in mountain village of Cooke City, between Yellowstone's NE entrance, and the Beartooth Highway (deemed "the most scenic highway in America"). High-end amenities will make you forget that you're deep in the mountains: sauna, hardwood floors, 2 fireplaces, tall ceilings, granite countertops, bathroom suite, and decks with breathtaking views.
This 3000 sq/ft "cabin" has plenty of space to accommodate your large group while still giving everyone their space; it has 2 kitchens and separate lounge spaces. The cozy, yet open, living room and dining room are the perfect space to bring everyone together around the fireplace, a board game, or that home cooked meal. Speaking of, the large fully equipped main kitchen has 2 ovens, high-end appliances, and is well stocked to prepare a feast for your family. The dining area and bar table has seating for 12. There is a second fully stocked kitchen, if your groups need some alone time, or if you just want to make it the cocktail bar for happy hour. That side of the house also has a den with leather couches to kick back in and watch our large flat screen TV (access to Hulu, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney+, ESPN+, and DVDs.).
The cabin showcases outdoor living in the mountains. Epic views of peaks that tower several thousand feet over Cooke are a plenty; you can even use our spotting scope to look for wildlife or scope your next ski line. The main deck has a BBQ (propane provided) and outdoor dining table. The whole family will enjoy roasting marshmallows in the gas fire pit. We provide snowshoes to explore in the mountains right out your back door. Just the right amount of secluded... what a great base camp for all of your Yellowstone Park and Beartooth Mountains adventures. When you get home turn on the beautiful new outdoor sauna.
In the master bedroom, french doors lead to a private balcony deck with a hammock and lounge chairs- a great place to enjoy your coffee with a view of Republic Peak. The over-sized king log bed will make you feel like a king next to the beautiful stone fireplace with mountain goat centered above. Relax in the daybed and turn on the internet TV. The bathroom suite is the definition of pampered: complete with large 2 person bath tub, a massive 4 head shower, and laundry.
We have Starlink providing us satellite internet providing the fastest speeds in town (150 meg); smart speakers and assistant can play whatever music you ask for, and provide great WiFi throughout the house. There is a great work space with a monitor to use. For the kids we have a pack-n-play crib, high-chair, and lots of board games/puzzles, DVD's. There is plenty of parking for your snowmobile trailers or several cars.

Pet friendly with approval. We are generally amenable to well behaved, potty trained, pets. When booking ensure you select yes for pets. Then send me a message describing your pet. The nightly price is based upon up to 6 people. After that, an extra $25, per person, per night, is automatically added to the price you see. Please advise me if your guest total increases after booking.
The entire unit (the main 2 floors) is yours to enjoy. There is a separate rental in the basement that is occupied by a part-time, long-term renter; this has a completely separate entrance and you'll likely never know anyone is there. The entrance (main floor and 1 bedroom) is accessed up a set of stairs. The 2nd floor is where the other 3 bedrooms are.

Everything is clean and well kept. The microwave screen did not work during this stay (however it did work our stay the week prior). The heating settings are a bit frustrating as the locked presets would let the house get cold overnight.

This was a lovely place to stay! We had three generations and there was plenty of room for everyone to be together and also have their own spaces. It was a quick and easy walk to Main Street. I highly recommend staying here!

You're buying the views. It is priced based on supply and demand and was very expensive for amenities and updates that aren't there. We understood we booked a larger home than we needed but trusted the description of how nice it would be, thus were willing to pay more for a relaxing stay. Things are overused and worn, kitchen amenities need replacing and organization. There is no hot tub, epic views yes, high-end features no. The bathroom vents are caked with dust and could be cleaned to offer clean airflow. On arrival the house was not cleaned throughout; there were crumbs and dust on furniture as well as the floors. It is by far the best option for the location and fine if it is more reasonably priced. The main oven had no power and to bring food and prep in the other area was more work and not reasonable. It was fine, we knew we were remote, just expected some understanding which wasn't there. The town is lovely, neighbors and residents alike. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Cooke City, but would have liked the value to match the expense.
