Come and enjoy this beautiful mountain cabin perfectly located between Boone and Blowing Rock on Appalachian Ski Mountain! With 2 living areas, amazing panoramic mountain views from almost every room, privacy and convenience to town, this is sure to be your new hideaway destination! The main level has an open kitchen, living room, and dining area with cathedral ceilings and beautiful mountain views through the wall of windows. The kitchen is fully equipped with plenty of space and newly upgraded stainless steel appliances. Coffee lovers will enjoy being able to use either the classic drip-style maker or the Keurig machine! The dining area boasts views from all seats. The living room features very comfortable furniture arranged around a gas-log stone fireplace with a 40-Inch HDTV and DVD player and Home Theater Surround Sound. There is also a half bath off the kitchen.
A master suite is on the main level, featuring a King bed as well as a private bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub with tiled shower. Step out onto the spacious wrap-around deck furnished with a dining table and Adirondacks and enjoy the awe-inspiring mountain views. A gas grill is positioned just off the deck.
The lower level contains a second living area with 42-Inch Flat Panel cable TV, a deck with a wonderful hot tub and great views, a bedroom with a King bed and separate entrance to the deck, a bedroom with 2 twin beds, and a shared full bathroom with a jacuzzi tub with tiled shower between the bedrooms.
Whether you're coming for an ASU football game, outdoor activities, a family vacation, or just to get away from it all, Amazing View is convenient to it all High Country shops.
The Story Behind the Name
I grew up in Virginia, among the expansive views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Actually, I thought everyone looked out their bedroom window across a sea of blue and purple ridges we called mountains. Then I married my husband and spent fifteen years in the plains of the mid-west. It's been such a mercy to come home to the mountains, this time in Blowing Rock, North Carolina. When we found this property it was hemmed in by trees. No one quite knew what view of the mountains lay hidden behind.
Being such mountain lovers ourselves, we take great pleasure in offering you a 180 degree view of the Blue Ridge. On a clear day you can count 13 ridges, clear up the New River Valley. As the sun sets, you can watch the light play off these beautiful, ancient mountains--a view that can take your breath away. You can see the skiers come down Appalachian Ski Mountain out the dining room window in the winter. The name, 1 Amazing View, truly fits this home. After you've enjoyed all that Blowing Rock has to offer, 1 Amazing View is a home where you can sit on the porch and drink in scenery that restores the soul.

Bookings canceled 30+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit.
Bookings canceled between 15-29 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of he deposit.
Bookings canceled within 14 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest.
All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.

Additional Notes:
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens will be provided.
- Firewood may be purchased at the time of booking or with a week's notice. You receive two wrapped, kiln-dried bundles and a fire starter for $25 plus tax per night.
- Check in is after 4pm and Checkout is by 10am
- Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by Host (property manager) or entry information cannot be sent.
- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
- No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
- 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.

Beautiful views and well taken care of property. Enjoyed the hot tub especially after skiing at Appalachian which is so convenient to the property and great for little kids to learn to ski at.

House was very clean and well stocked do we ate all our meals at the house. we like that. Beds were very comfortable which is so important! The view from the porch was gorgeous in spite if the not very good weather which was the only disappointment. But we would return to this property again- close proximity to things we wanted to do very cozy with a nice fireplace and comfortable seating. The only misleading part was that the property was listed as “pet friendly” but the truth was the dog had to be under 20 lbs! not our dog, and we had specific slly searched pet friendly houses.

The house was a little older feeling, but clean and nicely maintained. We loved the location! It’s just a few minutes to skiing at App and them it’s proximity to Boone and downtown blowing rock was great!

Stayed for 3 nights with our daughter and dog and loved the house, great location, comfortable beds. Heat definitely gets warm on main floor! Well equipped kitchen and incredible views. The hot tub was really nice and clean. Suggest bringing your own board games but otherwise house had everything!
