We have rented three units in Lighthouse Estates for a family reunion for four years in a row now. We love this community. The kids love the pool and Memorial Park, we love the proximity to kayak rental access, the view of the lighthouse, and watching he Canadian geese population that lives in the vicinity. We have been coming to Chincoteague/Assateague since 1993, and we have stayed at Lighthouse Estates more than at any other place on Chincoteague. We've already reserved for summer 2023!

As usual, our rental unit was clean and ready for us when we arrived. As we were there early in the season (early May) the pool had not yet been cleaned. Since we had relatively warm weather, this was a disappointment. The pool did not have a ‘pool closed’ sign on it, and there were folks swimming in the filth.
