High Country Lodge is the newest and largest edition to the Wintergreen Retreat portfolio of fine mountain homes. You will be impressed with the large open floor plan and thoughtfully curated décor throughout the home. The new owners have meticulously remodeled this house with attention to details, so you can be assured of a comfortable stay with quality furnishings and accessories.
The main level includes the soaring, light filled Great Room with cathedral ceiling & stone fireplace, multiple sitting areas and a impressive game room complete with a pool table and bar.
The upper level has the master suite with a King bed and sitting area, and a second bedroom with Queen bed.
The lower level has 4 bedrooms, including a large kid’s room complete with Video arcade and large screen TV for gaming/streaming.

Great house for large groups. It had everything you need to entertain including large pots and pans and a wide range of serving trays. Felt larger than the pictures showed. Backyard path to the golf cart path. Would stay here again! Thanks for hosting us, we had a wonderful time.

Great house with everything we needed for our lacrosse team spring break trip. Communicating with our host was quick and easy. Highly recommend this home for a large group - the bunk room was a big hit!

Overall, my group of eight had a good stay at this property. The house is open and well lit. However, we were disappointed when we found that the deck was covered with tree limbs and decaying piles of leaves. We spent our first hour at the house sweeping and clearing the deck. Also, the Internet speed was so slow that movies and sports on the TV continually blacked out and displayed a "buffering" message. After numerous attempts and efforts, we finally gave up. The Wi-Fi speed issues also caused problems with texting and sending pictures from our phones. Finally, there were some minor issues with deferred maintenance that can easily be remedied.
