High Country Lodge is the newest and largest edition to the Wintergreen Retreat portfolio of fine mountain homes. You will be impressed with the large open floor plan and thoughtfully curated décor throughout the home. The new owners have meticulously remodeled this house with attention to details, so you can be assured of a comfortable stay with quality furnishings and accessories.
The main level includes the soaring, light filled Great Room with cathedral ceiling & stone fireplace, multiple sitting areas and a impressive game room complete with a pool table and bar.
The upper level has the master suite with a King bed and sitting area, and a second bedroom with Queen bed.
The lower level has 4 bedrooms, including a large kid’s room complete with Video arcade and large screen TV for gaming/streaming.

Very welcoming. Even gave us a phone number for any questions or needs. Brought us plenty of firewood!This is a spacious house with great views and living space. Roads were kept clear and house was easy to drive to.This was a home run for our family!

The owner is very friendly and accommodating. The location is very good. We went to see the fall colors and it was perfect. The property is very well furnished. Highly recommended

Overall, my group of eight had a good stay at this property. The house is open and well lit. However, we were disappointed when we found that the deck was covered with tree limbs and decaying piles of leaves. We spent our first hour at the house sweeping and clearing the deck. Also, the Internet speed was so slow that movies and sports on the TV continually blacked out and displayed a "buffering" message. After numerous attempts and efforts, we finally gave up. The Wi-Fi speed issues also caused problems with texting and sending pictures from our phones. Finally, there were some minor issues with deferred maintenance that can easily be remedied.
