Located just three blocks from public beach access, Fore & Aft offers a more relaxed setting away from the hustle and bustle of the south end of Myrtle Beach—while still keeping restaurants, shopping, and entertainment within easy reach.
You’ll find plenty within walking distance, including a popular pancake house, The Flamingo for a fine-dining experience, Mexican and Outback restaurants, putt-putt directly across the street, and Dunkin’ and Baskin-Robbins just a block away. A liquor store is also nearby, and both Publix and Food Lion are within approximately half a mile.
One of our favorite things about this location? You can park your car and may not need to drive again until it’s time to head home! Spend your days walking to the beach, grabbing a bite to eat, playing a round of putt-putt, or simply relaxing at Fore & Aft.

Due to high demand during peak beach season, Fore & Aft is available for short-term and extended stays after Labor Day through March 31st.

we stayed here the whole winter.We got to know some of the neighbors.It is a well established, clean ,quiet neighborhood.It was very walkable and safe.The house was well equipped with everything needed to stay for a extended period.the landscape has beautiful flowering trees and a nice garden.It attracted many different kinds of birds and squirrels that were fun to watch and feed.The ocean is 2 blocks away.The host was great.lots of privacy.We loved it.

The property is situated near everything you’ll want to do in Myrtle Beach. Within walking distance to three great restaurants and the beach, but nice and quiet at night when it’s time to wind down. We really enjoyed our stay and cannot wait to plan our next trip! And being able to bring our pets was a huge plus.

Location is great, it’s near several great restaurants and walking distance to the beach. Owner responded promptly regarding questions. Pictures provided online of the place were accurate. However there were a couple downsides. The two beds in the bedrooms are listed as queens but are doubles so they are a little on the small side for two people. Also, the place was not cleaned very well. Right away we noticed a big sticky spot on the floor in the living room that looked like someone had spilled something. The floors were somewhat dirty. The sheets on one of the beds were dirty, they hadn’t been changed, because there was hair, a hair tie, and dirt inside the sheets. The bathroom seemed like it was not cleaned very thoroughly. The hose out front wasn’t a big deal, but it doesn’t work. All together the place worked for what we needed.
