About this house rental

Chill pad to kick back in with your best buds and babes. Very close to Joshua Tree National Park with adventurous hiking trails, endless skies and far out scenic views.

Grab your best bell bottoms and groovy shades and head over to the Valley of the Palms House. Enjoy a dip in our extra large above ground pool or kick a few back at the outdoor bar and grill area. Take a trip back in time with the authentic retro decor and wild color schemes for each room. Enjoy a cup of coffee on the patio on a crisp morning and watch the birds and rabbits go about their day. There's plenty of room on the 6 burner stove and BBQ grill to cook for the whole group. You can relax inside with the comfort of heating and A/C but don't stay home all day. The north entrance to Joshua Tree National Park is just down the road and you'll want to spend as much time on the hiking trails and taking in all the stunning visuals the park has to offer. Park passes are good for several days and thank goodness because you couldn't possibly see everything in one day! Also make sure to check out all the cute gift shops and vintage stores in Joshua Tree and Yucca Valley where you can grab some hip swag. Grab a yummy veggie sandwich at Natural Sisters, a tasty chive scone at Campbell Hill bakery or delicious dumpling tacos at Jelly Donut in downtown Twentynine Palms. Another must-do is to check out some of the unique art installations nearby. From remarkable roadrunner murals in the city to oddly organized tv's and toilets at Noah’s Purifoy, you'll be able to let out an honest "hmm" as you ponder such a clever arrangement. At the end of your stay you could very well tell yourself "I think I've seen it all" after a visit to the Valley of the Palms House.

A delightfully, clean, interesting home. Well appointed with new pots, comfy beds, large grill with multiple gas containers, cutco knives, great outdoor space and bedrooms with night tables for all. Funky, mid century decor that had us sending pictures to friends. If I ever return, I will only stay here

Beautiful property with comfortable beds. The outdoor area was so fun and relaxing to look at the stars at night. Decoration inside was very cool. Lots of board games, towels, and blankets available

Check in process was super easy, manager communicated well and quickly, check out was clear and easy, too. My daughters and I stayed here for 3 nights as a base camp for exploring nearby Joshua Tree, resting, and also spent most of a day thrift shopping in Yucca Valley. It was a great trip. We cooked most of our meals there and we had everything we needed besides a blender. We really enjoyed this house!

Me and 3 of my girlfriends stayed here for a visit to Joshua Tree Park. Both park entrances are easy to get to from this location and there are lots of little shops and restaurants nearby to explore. We each had our own room and were all comfortable and slept well. It got cold at night but there is a gas heater in the living room and in the hallway that warms the place up real quick. Three of the four bedrooms have minisplits but only two of us used them at night. We had so much fun playing with the organ, looking at all the decorations and reading the vintage magazines, that we didn’t even end up turning the tv on. Overall it was the best trip I’ve had in a long time and I will definitely be staying here again. It was too cold to use the pool this time but will definitely be enjoying it on another visit.
