About this house rental
Exceptional exquisite and fully furnished small house by the sea! Enjoy the tranquility in the green Vale Currais just minutes from the bustling center of Carvoeiro with its many restaurants, bars and shops. Many small details make the stay at Vale Currais a special treat:

As a result of Portuguese legislation, all vacation home owners are obliged, under penalty of prosecution, to submit a report with passport data of all guests to the SEF, similar to the registration form of a hotel. By booking, you agree to complete this form and send it to us. If the form is not completed correctly within 3 days of check-in, we will have to charge you for any expenses incurred.
Our house is traditionally built with thick walls and is equipped with shutters and mosquito nets and well ventilated, but does NOT have air conditioning.

This property is a short walk from Monte Caroviero and a little further into the beach area. It took us around 25 minutes in all. It is clean, tidy, and has a wonderful view of a flowering hidden valley that leads down to the rocky shore.
Although in the description it says there are two bathrooms my only criticism is that they are not ensuite and one is actually a converted shower/toilet under the stairs on the ground floor. That said, it was fine and the water was plentiful and always hot.
There are two large fridges, one with a freezer part inside at the top. It has a dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle, juicer, all the usual acoutraments one might expect in a home.
There is a rather large deposit required which almost amounted in our case to the price of the 5 nights we stayed there. Other folks have mentioned the security cameras on the top floor, they are outside the bedroom wall pointing down the valley, and what they see of us below rather depends on how wide angle the lens is. Didn't bother us at all
All in all a pleasant stay.

My wife and I and another couple spent five nights in late September at this property, and it was ideal. The place was clean and comfortable, and the patio (with a view of the ocean) was a perfect place to spend evenings. Carvoeiro was a short walk, which we made several times, and where we enjoyed the beach, the outdoor restaurants, and the shopping. We appreciated having the jacuzzi. After a day of swimming and walking and sightseeing, it was the perfect place to sooth tired muscles.

We are a familiy with two children and we have spent almost two weeks in this house in August.The house is very comfortable and close, by car, to a lot of wonderful beaches (Praia do Padre Vicente is a well kept secret beach in two minutes by car). The cleaning service is very efficient . The terrace is a wonderful place for having breakfast , lunch and dinner.The views and the sound of silence early in the morning in the terrace are really an amazing experience.
