I read the reviews and I was worried but the house was clean and ready when we arrived. Yes there is a little walk to the house but not much. Parking was a little confusing and we were approached by another resident in the area about parking but not much of a hassle. The house so peaceful and relaxing. The ac in the one bedroom was very loud but we opened the window and it was fine. I would definitely stay again.

Disastrous, was told i could check in at 4, when I got there it hadn't been cleaned. Chandler lied to me and said it was because the cleaners went to the laundry mat since the dryer broke. However all the dirty laundry was still piled up. We left and he said he would get the cleaners over their. At 930PM he said they werw done. We finallly got back there at 11PM and the cleaner was still there. He told us he disnt have tome to do laundry so there should be 1 clean towel. He said he would take 50% off, then just stopped responding to all messages.

This unfortunately was a bad experience. We entered the VRBO to find that someone was already staying there. Suitcases and clothing out in each of the bedrooms. Chandler the host was completely non responsive. So my family of 3 with a kid didn’t have a place to stay.

Chandler was wonderful and answered communication quickly. We arrived a little early and we were able to place our bags inside the facility and waited for the cleaners to finish on the Deck. The home is spacious and well-maintained. I would stay here again.

I began contacting the owner days before our stay due to the other reviews indicating some delays in getting in. I ended up contacting VRBO the morning of and they reached out and the owner promptly sent the instructions. I wasn’t traveling far and didn’t want to arrive “on time” and be stuck waiting for instructions or even cleaning. I figured if the place was in an awful state, I would even be willing to drive back home. Of note: the property is down a lengthyish walkway and I wish I had brought my wagon.We arrived about an hour past check in and found the place in disarray. Trash not taken out, sheets not washed, bed not made. One of us began washing the sheets while the other began unpacking the car. The second bed was made/not untidied. About 3 hours AFTER check-in, the cleaning crew arrived. We were already comfortable and had taken care of it ourselves so we sent her away. There’s a lack of attention and communication between the owner and his clean up crew which is evident from every other review on this listing. If you don’t mind potentially washing your own sheets, it’s a cheap place to stay where you can hear water.

The place and location were outstanding; however, the lack of clarity about parking was a bit unsettling. A neighbor told us the neighborhood didn't allow for this type of rental practice; he wasn't happy to see us there. It was our first time visiting the city/area really so, that was a concern to us. Also, be aware that parking it's not guarantee. If you rent this place, make sure you don't leave any valuables in your car. On the first night we had to park far away from the rental. The overall house was cute however, upon entry the trash from the previous guest(s) was still there the trash can was full and very smelly. Not exactly the welcome I was expecting upon entering the property. The fridge wasn't working, so we had to throw away our food. I don't like to waste food nor do I like to waste money. Lastly, the living room sliding doors don't have a lock; the owner placed a piece of small wood to block from opening; however, it was too small that anyone could off have open the door and enter the place at will. That was a big security concern for us.

Nice property on the water. The sound of the waves was very peaceful and we enjoyed coming back after our day exploring Napa and Sonoma to view the sunset.It’s about 30 min away from a bunch of wineries.The house was clean, functional and more spacious than expected.

Tried to stay here but owner unresponsive to multiple messages and to VRBO staff. Did not respond or provide info to access until 3 hrs before check in- had to cancel and book a different property because of the lack of response-would have rated a negative 5 but no option to do that

This was, without a doubt, the worst experience I’ve ever had with a vacation rental. I booked this property for 2 nights and deeply regret it. The host didn’t even bother to send check-in instructions until FOUR HOURS AFTER the check-in time—and only after I messaged them. Completely irresponsible.The neighborhood was filthy, with trash everywhere. It felt unsafe from the moment I arrived.Then I stepped inside. Absolutely revolting. It looked like the previous guests had just left in a hurry—beds unmade, sheets and pillows stained and filthy, as if someone slept in them hours before we walked in. There were wet, used towels on the bathroom floor, and human waste left in the toilet—UNFLUSHED.A block of wood was being used to “secure” the patio door. That’s not security—that’s terrifying. There were trash bags left inside the house, and the sofa was disgusting—stained and covered with a grimy old sheet. The entire place smelled bad and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks.This place is a health hazard and a scam. I cannot believe Vrbo allows listings like this to stay on their platform. The host clearly does not care about cleanliness, safety, or basic human decency.Avoid this property like the plague. If you value your safety, your sanity, or your money, do not go anywhere near it. This property should be investigated and removed.

Got there at 7:30pm, the place wasn't ready and the cleaners were there even though check in was at 4pm. So we went and got food and came back to the house smelling super strong of cleaning chemicals. Once they left we went out to the deck because we were super excited to use the fire pit and look at the view. What a surprise! The fire pit didn't work and it was a major letdown. It was a big reason why we booked this place. Beautiful view but overall a major disappointment.

When we first arrived at the location we found it was not cleaned by the time we were listed to check in at 4 P.M. It took nearly 4 hours for the cleaner to finish cleaning, by then it was 7:40 P.M.The home itself was nice. Some things were supplied to us in the kitchens and bathrooms. The final night of us staying was awful though. The washing machine door was stuck, leaving our clothes stuck inside. The owner of the property answered our call claiming that the cleaners would be sent to the home to help us and that he would call us back, he never did. We had to leave our clothes behind in the washer because we were on a tight schedule. Overall I would not recommend staying here, even for the price. We were never reimbursed for the 4 hour delay either. Super disappointing.

I wish the home had been better taken care of. Sliding door in living room does not work fridge barely keeps food cooler than room Temperature could not get heater or AC to work bathtub does not plug so you cannot take a bath. Home was not clean when we got there. Housekeepers didn't finish until 6 PM and my son still had crumbs in his bed. There were a lot of simple things that could be done to improve the listing. There were no knives other than one pairing knife. There was no dishwasher pods. There were no paper towels.. The deck was great view is beautiful! but they need to remove the rug as it is completely tattered and there's really no need for it. I've never left a bad review before, but being we had planned this as a family getaway and had so many complications. I think it's necessary for the owner to change his staff.

Communication was terrible!! We sent many questions which went unanswered. No handbook for check in or out. No effort to orient us to neighborhood. Broken equipment!! Both heaters were broken! When we sent an SOS about the heaters we were told there were space heaters, but we only found one small one, which was NOT SUFFICIENT. We left early as it was not an acceptable experience!

Upon arriving we didn't know where to go to get to the property once we parked, we weren't informed to go down what looked like an alleyway as there's no signage. Once inside the property we discovered porch furniture pillows tossed about and debris, inside it was freezing and there weren't any radiators, we found a small portable heater which we set up in the room we slept in but, the rest of the house was freezing. I contacted the owner and was told about a heater under the television in the living room but, that didn't even touch the cold in the house. It's not really made for winter vacationing. We were disappointed to say the least as we were stuck with it for two days, this should have been said in the advertising of the property.

It was apparently obvious the minute we walked in the front door that the cleaning crew had not cleaned after the last person had rented the unit!! At the last minute after spending four hours on the road with 27-year-olds, we were left scrambling trying to figure out if and where there was any clean linen in the house to change the beds ourselves as well as dealing with dirty dishes and bags, full of trash in the kitchen!! The host offered to send a cleaning crew in the next day, but it was a huge inconvenience for us and then eventually just stopped communications altogether with me! There were things such as boxes full of somebody’s mail in one of the closets it looks as though somebody had been living there! At this point, I’m beside myself and am enraged that my family and I even had to deal or even pay money to stay in a place like this!! Requesting A full refund for this trip!!

Property was very clean. Cosmetically it could use some work. It was located in a beautiful area with views of the bay, but in a possibly not so great neighborhood. Although we never saw anyone else in the area during our stay and didn't have any problem. Parking could be tricky, thankfully the host was able to get us his private spots to avoid a long walk. Host responded in a timely manner with inquiries, although checkout instructions were not given so we cleaned what we used and left it like we found it so hopefully there will be no cleaning charge. Overall we are happy with our stay and would stay there again.

Better than the photos. We sat out each evening on the deck with the fire pit lit, listening to the sound of the waves lapping below and around us. Interiorm of property was fabulous. Bed soo comfy. Even though this was a base for SF trips, we enjoyed the property stay just as much as SF. Ferry just 2 min Uber trip away and lovely 50 min ferry ride to SF.

I chose this house for location. It was nice being on the water, but so many things were off. You cannot park near the house. Many of the doors are difficult to open or close. There was no power when we arrived. It was not a breaker issue. It was a failure to pay the bill issue. After getting a hold of Chandler, he got it taken care of fairly quickly. When is the air conditioners does not blow cold air. Many of the windows do not have screens or screen doors. There was one knife and one spoon to work with in the kitchen. The bed frame was being held up by paint cans and fence boards. We found this out because when my daughter laid on the bed, the mattress fell so we had to re-adjust the boards and paint cans. The washer and dryer were great! The bedding was comfortable! The view was beautiful

Great place. My friends and I loved it. Reviews have been mixed. It seems that details are being taken care of over time. I messaged the host twice, asking if it was okay to arrive a little early. After no reply, I called Vrbo and was given the host’s number. He responded quickly to a couple of texts. The day before our trip, I texted again, and left a voice message, as one of my friends was concerned about reviews. Granted, this was just before the trip; but the host never responded. So his communication was good at first, and then nonexistent, besides sending entry details via Vrbo the day of the trip. We noted that there are no instructions on the listing about taking care of linens and towels when departing, about garbage and recycling (and the outside garbage was full), how to use the televisions, etc. It would be useful to have more information on such things. The lock to the sliding door to the deck was completely nonfunctional; it should be an easy fix for a locksmith, and having dowels for both sliding doors would be good. We weren’t too worried, as one would otherwise need to get through or over the locked wooden gate to access the house, or get onto the deck from the water. We had chosen this place in part because it has air conditioning. Fortunately, the weather was not too hot, as the AC unit in one bedroom rattled so loudly that it would be impossible to sleep with it running. We truly did enjoy our stay and would definitely return.
