About this house rental
House sits on 1 acre 1 mile from Dockside Restaurant on Torch Lake.
There is a Public beach area next to Dockside. We are across the street from Clam Lake public access and boat launch us 100 yards from the driveway, we are not waterfront and do not have a dock. Less than 10 min drive to World famous Torch Lake Sandbar. About a 15 min drive to the quaint town of Alden where you can enjoy delicious ice cream wine tasting andshopping. Enjoy Shorts brewery and downtown Bellaire 5 miles away and a Torch lake cellers winery, 1.5 miles away. Enjoy hiking through Glacial Hills trails 3 miles away and golf at Shanty Creek 6 miles . 35 minutes to Traverse City. 20 min to Turtle Creek Casino

It was a great spot, just a quick ride to the marina where we rented our boat. Fire pit was big with lots of chairs.

We would rent again.The home is well stocked for a family, beds are comfortable, interior is clean, and deck is a very pleasant hang out (although, no shade during the day-so got quite hot). It’s composite material with a nice high top table for enjoying morning coffee.We didn’t use the fire pit, but it is nice, and wood is available (donation requested) on site. Window AC units kept the house cool even in 90 degree weather and extreme humidity. Agree w previous comments that 1 bedroom is essentially a renovated closet. We appreciated that it has a queen bed, but the room is a bit “squishy” and definitely needed a fan for circulation. Bunk beds are shaky, and our 7 year old grandson wasn’t comfortable sleeping on the top bunk. Furniture was comfortable. Carpet has stains. I suppose not uncommon with renting. WiFi worked well for a couple family members who, unfortunately, had to work during part of the vacation.

We chose this location to be near torch lake, but still have room and at a decent price. This place was perfect for our families as we celebrated my father's birthday. We were able to bring our boats and have plenty of room for the adults, and small children. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils and all needed items. Grill was great to use to cook. Proximity to the boat dock was superb. House was clean and description accurate. Communication with host was awesome. Would Definitely stay again. Thank you!
