About this house rental
Relax. Inhale- set aside yesterday and put tomorrow on hold as you absorb the splendor of the beachfront and waves from 4 levels, including three large furnished decks in this incredible beachfront luxury manor.
Whether here 2 or 20 days, you will thrive in this virtually new, central air conditioned custom home with 3600 sq ft, 5 bedrooms (7 beds, a trundle & 2 sofa-beds) with 6 full baths and 3 half baths, plus Dish, DVRs, WIFI, & Hot Tub.
Living areas include a luxury suite with king bed, high ceilings with fan, 52" flat screen TV with DVR and en-suite bath with double vanities and ample storage. The adjoining study has a half bath, full granite wet bar with glassware, stools, sink plus wine/mini fridge and sonic ice maker.
The first floor, in addition to the luxury suite with study, has a spacious primary deck including a large comfortable conversation seating area with outdoor picnic table. There's an additional sunning deck with chase lounges. Inside enjoy a full kitchen with island plus modern appliances including gas stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, disposal, Keurig and standard coffee makers, mixer and serving-Peninsula for casual meals; plus cooking utensils, flatware, glass ware and even spices. The large family dining table seats 12.
The living room contains a 55" 4K flex TV, making 9 with individual Dish selections plus 4 DVRs on site. Enjoy another queen bedroom with TV and en-suite bath; an additional full guest bath and laundry room with washer and dryer, ironing board and iron.
Ascend to the top floor to find another balcony with stunning beachfront views from sunup to sundown, along with the Galveston skyline. Off this third living area, discover a bedroom with 2 full size beds, TV, water view plus another queen bdrm and TV; each with it's own separate toilet and sink, but together sharing a Jack and Jill bath. Also enjoy the full queen bedroom awaiting down the hall with TV and en-suite bath. Another family room area with sofas, shuffleboard, and large flat screen TV with DVR complete the 2nd floor.
Go to and return from the beach only a few feet away on your private Just Breathe walkway. Relax in the swings and basket chairs while serving yourself and friends at the paloma cocktail table or the enormous paloma (palm thatch roof) bar with two service windows and still another large flat screen TV, with a refrigerator, microwave, and half bath.
Rinse off in the outdoor, under roof shower, and dine at the large palapa picnic table plus sink and gas grill for family enjoyment . Add beach toys with the fully fenced back yard including an interior fenced playground for the kids with first class wooden Tree Frog equipment and tropical landscaping.

We had an enjoyable Christmas vacation at this cabin. The cabin itself was in great condition and, for the most part, very clean. However, upon arrival we noticed that two of the pull-out beds had stains that appeared to resemble urine. Because of this, we chose not to use those pull-out beds, which was an inconvenience and only resolved because we had packed an air mattress.On a positive note, there was plenty of space for entertaining, and the cabin offered great access to the beach. Future guests may also want to bring additional sheets to ensure all beds are adequately covered, as well as extra blankets for added comfort. Overall, it’s a nice property, but addressing the bedding issues would greatly improve the experience.

We chose this house for our 5th annual staff retreat, and it gave us plenty of room to mingle, play games, lounge around, and have alone time. Downstairs hall bathrooms were so convenient. The kitchen was fabulously stocked (and sparkling clean). Bathrooms were well-stocked with TP, hand soap, shampoo, etc. We spent most of our time outside, enjoying the spectacular view and direct, private access to the beach.Our overall rating is "good," rather than "excellent" due to the condition of a few things, like the outdoor furniture (unsteady or unusable) and the towels. The good news is that all, we have been told, are being replaced, repaired or upgraded.We didn't receive check-out instructions by email (probably a VRBO error), so we consulted the book. To our surprise, guests were advised to wash, dry and return the towels to their proper bathrooms. This added an ick element to the less than fresh feeling our towels had. Before reserving, we suggest contacting the owner to see if this policy is still in place. If so, we recommend taking the towels on a trip to the washing machine before use.The owner responded quickly (usually immediately) to our questions and was helpful."Just Breathe" is a beautiful, spacious home. If the outdoor furniture is repaired, and the towel situation is improved, you'll surely rate this property as EXCELLENT.

Beautiful home, very clean, and multiple spaces for our family to spread out in. The kitchen is well equipped for a large group. We looked through all the cupboards and could not find a toaster and the blender did not work well, so if you want toast and smoothies, I'd recommend bringing a toaster and blender. The ensuite bathrooms are a huge bonus for a beach house. Beach access is conveniently close. Our family had a wonderful week's stay at Just Breathe and would definitely stay again.
