Cheerful Lake House minutes from all Colorado Springs has to offer!

House was quite clean easy tonwork with hosts. Park/ lake just a block away was great for the kiddos. It was close to plenty of restaurants, convenience stores, etc. Beds and some of the pillows were quite firm if you like that. Outside well maintained. Only "bad" thing was the neighborhood being run down. This place is a diamond in the rough. That said we had zero problems during our two nights

House was very clean and lived up to the expectations. Hosts were very responsive and friendly.

We could not check in early ( not really a big deal ) we knew we couldn’t get in until 4. We could not get the front door open. It’s jammed up on the frame. We called and messaged the property owner many times about the front door not opening with no response and we waited outside for over a hour with all of our bags and groceries and 3 kids sitting and waiting for them to respond. It started to rain so we packed everything up and put it back in the car and waited for a response with no success. We contacted Vrbo for help and they answered right away and helped as best as they could. If your renting a property and you know your guest check in is 4 pm why aren’t you making sure your guest checkin process is starting off well!! The bathroom door locks but doesn’t close and latch. The back door has issues hard to open and shut. You have lots of door issue that need addressed before renting this property. The ac unit upstairs is not a normal in the window type but sitting on the floor at the foot of the bed runs all the time and you can not hear the tv at night when your trying to relax. The hot tub metal handle is broken and the hot tub cleaner guy came out to clean it while we were using it. This service should not be performed while your renting the property. The hot tub cleaner guy said he has advised the property owner many times the handle was broken and it still has not been repaired. The neighborhood is really sketchy especially at night. Don’t go out at night to walk.
