The apartment was clean safe and the the area is excellent but it was smaller than it see in the pictures

The apartment was surprisingly very small. From the photos presented, this was a disappointment.
Although the apartment is in a great location, there are a few things that could be improved:
- A shelf in the bathroom for personal toiletries would be very helpful.
-An additional foot towel in the bathroom would also be helpful.
-It was a little bothersome to have to turn on a switch in order to have hot water for the shower. Also, having to turn it off to avoid a surcharge was a pain.
- The TV remote had been broken and scotch taped together. It took some wrangling to get it to work.
- The walls adjoining the other apartments need a little more sound-proofing. At night I could hear TV and radio noise from each side of me.
- I should mention the good points as well;
-The staff in the lobby are superb in their willingness to help guests. They get a big "well done". I had never been to Guatemala City before and they were very helpful and friendly in helping us find our way around.
- The location is perfect for someone visiting the Integra Medical Centre 2 blocks away.
- Although noisy, the neighborhood was comfortable to walk around in. There are many eateries within close walking distance.
- The building has a laundry room - that was a big help.
-The building is secure and well maintained. It made our stay much more enjoyable.
- I would stay there again, should the need arise.
