SECURITY:
There is a video camera at the front door (which records 30 sec.), 2 above the driveway and garage facing the front of the house, 1 overhead by the casita facing the backyard, and 1 by the gate/pool equipment area. There are no indoor cameras.
There are also noise decibel monitors located on the back patio and in the dining room. They do not record audio, but tracks how loud the general environment is.
ADDITIONAL HOUSE RULES:
-Parties, events, or weddings are not allowed.
-Booking guests must be at least 25 years old.
-If you are a local person, you must be pre-approved in order to book this house. Please make an inquiry and we will approve or disapprove at our discretion.
-All guests that have a confirmed criminal record shall be declined and asked to cancel the booking at their own expense.

The stay was solid. Having owned VRBO's and stayed in many, I felt like this property was just a bit better than okay. The house is decent enough, but it felt like it was constructed as a VRBO, and not as a house someone would want to live in. I find half the charm of VRBO houses to be that you get to stay in something as nice or nicer than your house. This house felt like a 3 star hotel, but in a 4 1/2 star shell. Honestly no big deal, but it was just very expensive for what it was. The finishes are all just decent IKEA finishes....no big deal, but not at all fancy. The biggest issue was that it lacked the normal comfort items that you'd normally find in a VRBO. No salt, no condiments, no pantry with necessities. Again, not obligated to do that at a VRBO, but then it's more like a hotel stay and less like a warm home that is being rented. Again, none of this is required, so it's no problem. I just like to be honest with these reviews. One thing I like about VRBO's is when I communicate directly with the owner....just seems to be a nice touch and something my wife and I do with ours, but this house was strictly the Management company. With that said, they were very responsive as we had some immediate issues upon arrival after a huge rainstorm and also a coffee maker that didn't work. They took care of those things very quickly, smoothly and politely. If I owned another VRBO in the desert I would definitely use them. Overall a nice stay and a high 3+ to low 4 star
