About this villa rental
In Álora, the villa "Caminito del Rey" offers excellent mountain views. The 250 m² villa consists of a living room, a well-equipped kitchen, 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and an additional shower room, accommodating up to 6 people.
Additional amenities include Wi-Fi suitable for video calls, air conditioning (on the ground floor and in the three main bedrooms on that floor), washing machine, and television. A cot and a high chair are available on request.
The villa features a private outdoor area with a pool (4 x 3 m, 1.10 - 1.70 m deep), garden, outdoor furniture, open terrace, balcony, and barbecue.
Approximate distances by foot or car: nearest restaurant 406 m, café 347 m, bar 313 m, supermarket 441 m, and Los Álamos beach 37.8 km. Free parking is available on the property. Pets are not allowed.
Please note that there may occasionally be water restrictions imposed by the authorities, and you will be informed if this occurs.
The property is protected by a burglar alarm.
The villa is located at the edge of the village, surrounded by countryside and nature, with very few houses nearby. Insects or occasional entry of dogs or cats not belonging to the property may occur, and you will be informed about this.
The village fair is held at the end of July and beginning of August; you will be notified in advance.

Pros: This house could be one of the best locations in Álora. The supermarket is 2 minutes and bars/restaurants/shops 10 minutes away but it is quite peaceful here. The view across the valley is fantastic, something you can look at for hours. The house has everything you need, it's not brand new but all functional. Beds are comfy and shower works well. BBQ area catches the sun at the end of the day. Unfortunately there was a storm for a couple of days but the hosts kept in contact with us to make sure we were okay and they were quick to respond when we had a couple of questions. Very friendly people who we are sure would help you with anything.
Cons: Too cold to use the pool this month!!! But it will be great for in the summer :-)

Pros: The hosts were very helpful and a pleasure to meet. The swimming pool was a blessing with the hot temperatures.
Very close to the supermarket making shopping nice and easy.
Cons: It was a little hot for my liking with the temperature 5/6 degrees above the normal, but that is not something you can control!

Pros: First of all house was beautiful and the location was perfect. Peace and quiet. We were very pleased to stay in that house.
Alora is very nice, small town. You can find places to eat and drink.
Its very well situated so you can make trips to Malaga or Marbella and El Chorro lake which is amazing.
The owners were very helpful and very friendly. Thank you for everything.
I would definitely recommend this place, especially if you looking for relaxation.

Pros: Again , and for the third time now , we enjoyed a fantastic ten day holiday in this fabulous place.This house and its surroundings are simply magical.The villa really has everything and the landlords , Francisco and Pilar take very good care of their guests.
Hope we can do it again next year.
