About this apartment rental
Our Black Forest Vacation Rental 1060m is located in the state-recognized climatic health resort of Todtnauberg in the southern/Upper Black Forest, at an elevation of exactly 1060m in a high valley in the border triangle (Switzerland, France, Germany) within Baden-Württemberg’s second-largest ski resort.
An additional security deposit of 100.00 EUR is required for the duration of your stay. Don’t worry—once the apartment has been properly inspected upon checkout, we’ll of course refund the amount quickly and easily.
The vacation rental features a large living/dining room with a fireplace, a bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen, a hallway, a pantry, a new bathroom with a shower and toilet, a balcony with afternoon sun and an awning, as well as an underground parking space—just arrive and enjoy your vacation.
The town charges a visitor’s tax (3.20 EUR per night/person), and with this visitor’s card, you can travel by bus and train throughout the Southern Black Forest for free and enjoy many other interesting discounts on your explorations.
A proper handover of the apartment upon departure means adhering to the following basic standards of good manners, which should go without saying: Leave the apartment swept and clean; the dishwasher is emptied; the dishes are clean and put away in the cabinets; and household waste (residual waste, plastic, paper) is disposed of properly in the building’s trash containers. Empty beverage bottles and food jars should be disposed of at the bottle recycling stations on your way home; these are located in town on Schwimmbadweg and on the road toward Freiburg.

You’ll find a tastefully and comfortably furnished vacation rental for 2 people with a fireplace, an approximately 7-square-meter southwest-facing balcony with afternoon sun, and a babbling brook in front of the balcony/apartment.
The 65-square-meter, newly renovated vacation apartment features two rooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom, a hallway, and a pantry. It is located on the first floor on the exterior side of the building. The spacious living-dining room features a large, solid-wood dining table with four swing chairs, a swivel chair, and a 4-door highboard. The living area invites you to linger and relax on a leather sofa set consisting of a two-seater, a three-seater sofa, and an armchair, accompanied by a functional marble-and-glass table.
A cozy open fire in a closed fireplace insert, a large flat-screen TV (55 inches), and a modern stereo system (including Bluetooth, USB port, and CD player) round out the evening’s activities for two.
A large panoramic window ensures a bright and light-filled living area. The large panoramic window is equipped with pleated shades and also features electric blinds, just like in all the other rooms. During the summer months, you can enjoy the sun and the sound of the babbling brook on the southwest-facing balcony from around 1 p.m. until sunset.
The balcony is furnished with an awning, 2 lounge chairs, 4 garden chairs, and a table. Firewood is not provided.
The fully equipped kitchen features a ceramic cooktop, oven, microwave, toaster, Senseo coffee maker, dishwasher, large refrigerator with freezer compartment, electric kettle, coffee maker, hand blender, and hand mixer, you can pursue your culinary passions as a self-caterer, provided you have the necessary supplies.
The bedroom (made of solid alder wood) features a double bed (1.80 m x 2.00 m) with a comfortable bed height of 60 cm, separate mattresses, two nightstands with drawers, and reading lamps. A large, tall wardrobe with two double-door cabinets (one of which features a full-length mirror) is available for storage, along with a chair for placing items and door hooks.
Twin beds measuring 1.35 x 2.00 m and pillows measuring 0.80 x 0.80 m are provided; please bring your own bed linens (1.35 m x 2.00 m) and towels (shower, hand, and dish towels) must be brought by guests or can be booked as a linen package for a one-time fee of 30.00 EUR!
Firewood is not included.

We stayed one week in Todtnauberg and enjoyed the stay in this very nice and good equipped apartment. It was very comfortable with a nice terras located on the south-west and although we stayed in the end of September we were able to enjoy the sun on this terras. The apartment is also located in a wonderful environment and from here you can easily travel to other interesting places in the Schwarzwald.
