Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space made up of two bedrooms, a full kitchen & dining area and conveniently located bathroom. This apartment sleeps 4 persons. Enjoy the fresh air and ambiance of the mountain view as you awake to the sweet sound of the birds chirping. Have your coffee while you enjoy the multi cultured Kois and gold fish frolicking in their pond with the sound of the water cascading down the fall. At night you can pop a bottle of wine with your dinner and enjoy the moon. This property offers two wrap around patios on the first and second level floors, both overlooking the lush green Maracas Valley.
Our home is situated on the mountainous hillside of Maracas Valley in the Northern Range. The spectacular maracas water falls are only 10 mins drive away set against the luscious rain forest. You can witness the multicolored hummingbird and Amazon parrots anytime of day. Our home is also within a gated community with 24 hours security. You can access popular restaurants, fast food outlets like KFC, Subway, Papa John, Burger King and local street foods like doubles and gyros only 5 mins drive away. For nature seekers there is a list of spectacular rivers and waterfall all located in the pristine rain forests of the Northern Range and within close reach, under 10km from our home. Some of these are Habio falls, Acono Falls & Rincon Falls. On your way there you can stop by the Ortinola Great house for some refreshment. In our former Capital St Joseph, 4km away is the St Joseph RC Cathedral and the town park.

The view is amazing! The hosts, Asha and Haresh, are very attentive and present. They live on the premises themselves and are always ready to assist and provide information when needed.
For example, on the first day we arrived at the apartment at 5 AM. Our driver had to call the hosts, and they woke up immediately, ready to help and accommodate us. Very impressive.
We enjoyed a local Trini breakfast with a view every day, at our convenience. The hosts, Asha and Haresh, shared countless tips and suggestions with us to enhance our stay and Carnival experience.
As the days went by, our stay became more and more homely. We shared moments, life lessons, travel experiences, and future plans—things hosts don’t typically discuss with guests. Asha and Haresh are genuinely interested and caring people.
The location is amazing for bird watchers and nature lovers. Although it is not close to public transportation, Asha and Haresh are willing to drive guests anywhere, including to waterfall hikes and Carnival fetes. They are also open to feedback about our stay, which shows their customer-focused approach to hosting.
The apartment felt very safe and comfortable throughout our stay. It has a more traditional, slightly older style rather than the modern, newly renovated look you often see nowadays, which adds to the homey feeling.
