About this cabin rental
The Duke is a peaceful seclusion in the heart of Wears Valley. This 3800 sq ft property allows room for up to 18 guests to spread out and relax in peace and quiet with 7 bedrooms across two levels. Outside their is an expansive deck where you can sip a cup of coffee and be surrounded by nature. Get free access to an amazing community POOL and stocked fishing pond just 4 miles down the road.

-Great Room: Massive leather sectional overlooking a 70" TV and a wall of windows. Separate dining area, bar seating, and reading/ coffee nook.
-Master Suite with fireplace and walk in shower, soaking tub, porch, Futon sofa bed
-Jr. Master Suite with private bath and porch, Futon sofa bed
-Twin over Full Bunk Room
-Kitchen and Dining, Charcoal Grill out front
Downstairs Level:
-Game Room: 75" Smart TV, Pool Table, Multicade, Wet bar, Classic Games
-Green room: Queen bed, sitting area, fireplace, porch

We provide starter supplies for our guests: 1 single use shampoo and bar of soap per bathroom, 1 sponge, 2 dishwasher tablets, 1 laundry detergent packet, 1 roll of paper towels, 1 small liquid dish soap, and 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom. All other cabin supplies will need to be provided by the guests i.e. charcoal, etc.
This cabin is in the mountains and there is bear activity throughout all of the mountains. Please be aware of wild wildlife and do not feed them by any means. In addition please ensure your cars are locked without food at all times. Wildlife typically keeps to themselves but as you travel throughout the words it is very likely to encounter them.
Must sign rental agreement upon booking and upload a copy of your legal unexpired driver's license or passport
Must submit a $500 off-platform security hold that will be collected upon signing rental agreement but it will not be placed until 2 days prior to arrival and released 3 days after departure, if no damages are reported. Deposit to be processed by host on guests credit card. Please note we are API Connected to a hotel-style software called OwnerRez to safely and securely take off-platform security deposits.

This home was wonderful for the amount of people we had in it. There were some things on the listing that need updated, such as the bunk bed room no longer having any window coverings. The cleanliness of the property was subpar and the upstairs beds were uncomfortable/sunken in - compared to other properties my family and I have stayed at. There was an issue with the sump pump sewage smelling when we would sit on the back patio so we just avoided going out there. This home had a wonderful space in the basement for kiddos and adults to enjoy arcade games, television, and pool table. The basement bedrooms were in decent shape and family members who stayed down there said the mattresses weren’t too bad! The property sits on a steep hill and the driveway is steep, so heads up! It’s very doable. The access to the pool at the bottom of the mountain was great, the kids really enjoyed it. Overall, we enjoyed our time as a large extended family at this property.

Would definitely stay again. The house set up was great for the 17 people we had. Very clean and up to date. The bedrooms on the second floors with the bathrooms was a big hit. The pool table and game table was loved by the grandkids. The view wasn’t the best but bring in the mountains is awesome. The daily drive down the mountain was our Mountain View. Very quiet and peaceful. There was a bear that visited almost daily in the morning and evening. It was great entertainment. Megan the host was very rapid with responding to our questions. We were sad to leave

We entered a clean, well appointed cabin. As soon as we entered my granddaughter noticed the family Bible on the entry stand. She was impressed! Everything was exactly as advertised on the VRBO website. All 17 of my family thoroughly enjoyed being together, yet were able to spread out and utilize all the amenities provided. We visited all around the area - from the Smoky Mtn National Park, to Dollywood. Returning to our "Home, away from home" brought us to a place to rest on very comfortable beds, relax in the hot tub, and fix meals to enjoy together. Thanks to Megan for promptly responding to every need and keeping us up to date on arrival and departure info. Thank you for providing this cabin!

The cabin was clean had problems with the jacuzzi tub in the master bathroom the water was shooting up from the side of the tub,and the water wasn't on when we arrived had to th host,but she sent someone pretty quick, also I thought that I was getting the pool and fishing pond on the same land as the cabin that was one of the main reasons why I purchased that cabin. My suggestion would be before the renter arrive please check everything to make sure everything is working properly. Thank you
