We apologize, but due to recent events in the area involving parties, and with the utmost respect for our neighbors and community, we are no longer able to accept bookings from local guests (those who live within 45 minutes of Philadelphia, have a Philadelphia-based ID, or a Philadelphia area code). We reserve the right to cancel any reservation made by any local guest.
☀ The guest that is booking, must be staying- no booking for other people or groups is allowed.
☀ A signed rental agreement and damage waiver payment ($20 minimum) is required prior to finalizing booking.
☀ No Smoking:
No smoking of any kind is allowed inside the home. A $500 fine will be charged if evidence of smoking is found.
☀ No Parties / Unauthorized Guests:
No parties or unregistered guests are permitted. We reserve the right to terminate any booking without refund if parties or events occur. A $250 fine will be charged for each unauthorized guest.
☀ We have a $20 per guest/ per night fee after the first 4 guests.
☀ Parking: Street parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please check all posted signs carefully, as regulations may change, and the Philadelphia Parking Authority switches the rules often! I was in Philly for a conference, so we thought it would be a good opportunity to make a family trip out of it. We took an uber from the airport and arrived in under half an hour with traffic. Great location for a family trip, we could easily walk to sites of interest throughout Old City and Center City, or take the subway to a nearby station if we were too tired. A well-equipped kitchen made it possible to have breakfast and or dinner at home. I will say, this was an urban trip, be prepared for an urban experience - the nearby highways can be heard from the rear bedroom, their are distinctly city smells in the area, and the walk from the subway station is gritty. But the family loved playing the games in the rec. room, and it was cool being just a short walk from locations like Edreth’s Alley. Any questions or issues we had during our stay got quick and friendly responses from the owners.
