It is also situated within a mile radius of 3 Marinas, offering a unique opportunity to dock your boat if necessary , and yet is still convenient to shops, restaurants and commuting routes. This address is 16miles from Quantico marine base. 45 miles from Washington DC and 12 miles from downtown Fredericksburg.

This was a nice property and relatively convenient to Marine Base Quantico (we were here for our daughter's graduation from The Basic School). It was spacious (room for all of our family members to have their own rooms and easily share bathrooms) and the kitchen was adequately stocked to be able to make breakfast every morning. The beds were nice and there were plenty of nice, clean linens for the beds and baths. It was nice to have full laundry facillities in order to do a couple loads of laundry. There as also plenty of parking for our two vehicles. The hosts were very communicative and hospitable! A few things were broken and/or a bit worn out, but overall a good property!

We just had a great stay at the Serene Cave. The place was as listed and we were able to have a large group comfortably for a graduation ay Quantico Marine base . My only issues were with the kitchen supplies. The pots and pans are all very old and damaged. There were two coffee pots on counter and one was broken. There were 3 blender bottoms and one blender. Tons of mismatched Tupperware. Knives and forks but no spoons. The kitchen was basically a junkyard of old supplies that really need to be cleaned out and updated. I do feel they are very thoughtful with other supplies like shampoo , soap toothpaste etc. If you are looking to do any cooking for a group this would be a hard rental. Otherwise the place is great and very roomy . Comfortable beds and plenty of towels. Overall we did enjoy our stay.

The home was in a great location, exactly what a large group needed. Plenty of room for 9 people, beds were very comfortable, there was water, TP, and linens - thank you! Would stay again if in the area. Kitchen was fully stocked, bathrooms had items if you forgot something and plenty of towels for all.

Most all the beds squeaked and make noise on every turn. The house was clean but the doors also squeaked.
