About this house rental
Cute Star Cottage built in the 1920's is one of the original homes in Star close to the downtown. Walking distance to downtown Star, post office, library, coffee shop, elementary school, church, and restaurants. There is a new gas station in town less than 1/4 mile away with a convenience store for all of your immediate needs. Located 15 miles from the State Capitol Building, 7 miles to the freeway, and centrally located between Nampa/Caldwell and Boise.

Great place, hard to back out of driveway on busy street but otherwise perfect for us. Walk to store, great bars and dinner and cool neighborhood.

Cute place that had everything we needed!

Cottage is cute but needs some fixing. Not very convenient to Boise or the airport (further than I thought) and on a very busy street. Door code had been changed and we weren’t told, but we reached the owner. Later found no hot water (pilot light is uncovered and blows out easily) but owner did come over to light it when I said I wasn’t comfortable doing it myself. Overall, an ok place for a night or two if it’s on your way somewhere else.
