Welcome to the Hopkins House! A beautifully inviting year-round waterfront house maintained to the highest standards. All new dock and pier completed January 2026 - pics coming soon. Amazing watersports equipment. Perfect for relaxing vacations, family reunions, and holiday gatherings. Private setting, quiet, close to nature with stunning views of the Chesapeake and amazing sunsets yet close to local towns for shopping and restaurants. Crab or fish right off the dock. Bring your boat! There is ample docking and a boat ramp on the property. There is also a public boat ramp minutes away. Excellent fishing and boating opportunities right out the back door. Charter boats/captains are also available nearby for offshore, inshore and bay fishing. Photo excusions and day trips can also be booked. The home boasts a fully stocked gourmet kitchen with granite counters and stainless steel appliances. There are fireplaces in the living room and master bedroom, 2 screened porches and a deck for sunning with southern exposure. Outdoor cooking options are awesome with a Weber Genesis gas grill and Weber Slate gas griddle. There are 5 hard shell kayaks, 2 paddleboards and four bikes available for use. House is surrounded by a white picket fence--ideal for keeping track of children and dogs. Master bedroom has a king size bed, same floor has a second bedrom with 2 twin beds. Downstairs is a beautiful guest bedroom has a queen size bed and sitting area with access to a screened in porch. Elevate your Eastern Shore experience when booking a stay with us. 5 stars is simply not enough for this listing. First there's the breath taking view from the wall of kitchen windows.The home is beautiful, well appointed, and thoughtfully prepared with every comfort of home and then some! We enjoyed the on-site kayaks, paddle boards, and beach accessories. Had our stay been a little longer, we would have taken the bikes for a ride. I can't say enough positive things about the host. They were very prompt with responses to our messages both prior to and during our visit. From pre check-in to post check-out John was truly an exceptional, informative host. He was very understanding and accommodating throughout our stay. If you're looking for a peaceful home with breath taking views, all the amenities, and wonderful hosts, look no further than the Hopkins house!

Our family of 6 had a wonderful stay here in June. The house is extremely comfortable with an amazing layout that lends itself well to being active (waterfront, crabbing, kayaking) and relaxing (playing a board game or reading/napping on the screened porch). The views from every room were awesome, especially the kitchen and dining room which overlook the water. In addition to numerous birds, we saw lots of wildlife including turtles, foxes, deer and even a mama duck with her little ducklings. The beds were comfortable in all of the rooms, the baths were stocked with toiletries and the air conditioning was a welcome amenity during the hotter days. We're so glad this is now on our radar for future visits.
