About this cottage rental

Nestled among the trees, steps away from the lake, this classic Split Rock cottage is your getaway in the middle of it all. Built in 1964, the knotty pine interior harkens back to a simpler time. The natural stone fireplace ignites with the touch of a button. A galley kitchen has all of the necessary tools to make a delicious home-cooked meal. The dining area seats six, and the wood deck and screened-in porch are great in warmer weather. Two bedrooms and two full baths complete the package. There is also a fire pit for a chilly evening by the fire.

Truly enjoyed our stay at Whitney Cottage. The only suggestions I would make is that we would have liked curtains, considering there were some young people wandering the neighborhood outside the house one night and the fan in the master bedroom needs to secured better. It wobbles too much. Other than that, we were very happy and plan to come back.

A charming cottage in a great location with countless activities in the area. The host is prompt and responsive. The cottage is fully stocked and absolutely cozy. A comfortable home-away-from-home vibe with lovely accents inside and out. Would definitely stay again, 10/10!
