We love lakeside haven. This is our second time staying here and it’s our new favorite destination. I will say, this particular unit didn’t smell as good as the other unit and I think the big comforters could be washed. They didn’t smell very good. I think maybe why the unit is was a little stinky. But we loved it even so and will be back again. Thanks for accommodating our late check out. We appreciate it.

The property is kept well and was very clean and well supplied for any length of stay. We did find the pictures a bit misleading as the apartment was quite a bit smaller than we expected.

Great little place that is clean and enjoyable.It was a really hot the day we arrived and the portable AC unit couldn't keep the entire place cool (no central AC). The AC unit is on the bedroom floor but our 2 little boys slept on the pullout in the living room and it was pretty warm and uncomfortable (80ish) for our boys sleeping in the living room. The AC unit vents out of the bedroom window, but it's rigged up with cardbaord and tape. It's better than no AC, but not ideal.There are no windows with to open and the doors don't have screens to keep bugs out so we couldn't cool off the living room. We probably wouldn't have rented this place if we knew it only had a portable AC unit in the bedroom and not in the main living area. Normally this area doesn't get super hot, but this cute little place is definitely setup more for winter than for summer guests. If it had a minisplit in the living room also and screens on the doors (so we could cool off the place in the evening) it would have been perfect.There was a critter in the heating duct of the bedroom that was really loud and kept us up for several hours between 2am and 8am. Not the hosts fault on that, but it made for a few less than ideal nights.
