About this house rental

Extensively remodeled recently, this Miner's Cottage is centrally located to all Park City has to offer, with this Park Avenue private home situated just a skip away from downtown's Town ski lift, and right across from the Library and Miner's Hospital recreation area bike path, skate park and community space.

Walk anywhere in downtown Park City in summer or winter from this charming ski residence, or take Park City's free transit system from the bus stop just beyond your doorstep around town to Deer Valley, favorite hiking or biking trails, or shops and restaurants.

Guests can enter from the quiet Sullivan Road driveway and double car garage area on the back side of the home, with lots of space for parking which is a premium in the historic district! The garage has ample space for ski or bike gear, and includes a large boot dryer. The entry level also has a secluded one Queen suite with access to the home's private large hot tub.

Up one level your whole group can stretch out in the large main living space, with a spacious open concept living into dining and kitchen area. A cozy fireplace along with Queen sleeper sectional sofa, board games, and an ample living room smart TV for movie nights. On-site full size laundry is a plus for longer stays. The kitchen and dining area are built for entertaining with a big kitchen island, along with a formal dining area for holiday meals. Step out the patio door from the kitchen to enjoy your deck, gas grill, and happy hour.

The upstairs level offers an ample sized King master suite with ensuite bathroom. Around the corner is a bunk room with a Full over Full bunk and a Twin trundle bed, with a bonus Full bed nook, comfortably sleeping 6 adults, along with an adjoining bath. The bunk room is comfortable for adults, but really is a blast for the kids, making this property ideal for two families.

Across the three bedrooms this property can comfortably sleep a maximum of 12: King, Queen, Queen Sleeper Fold-out, Full/Full Bunk, Full Nook (comfortably 1 adult), and a Twin trundle. Bathrooms have also been recently renovated and much of the furniture and décor is freshly updated.

The views from this property are quintessential old town homes, with the bonus of the green City Park space adjacent, making this an ideal location for your next trip to Park City! Get the best spot for the 4th of July parade and summertime activities from this home, walk to Sundance events and all of Old Town, or take advantage of the easy walk to the Town Lift for skiing and restaurants without having to drive.

Whatever the season, this is the perfect family gathering spot to create lasting memories in Park City.

This home is an excellent place to stay for Park City skiing. We had a group of six, including young twins. The drive to Mountain Village ski center is less than 5 minutes, and if you store your ski equipment at the base overnight, you can easily walk to the lift in 10 minutes. Likewise, the walk to downtown Park City for restaurants, bars, shops, galleries and the Egyptian Theater is about 10-15 minutes, depending on your destination. This property has lovely accommodations, with nice furniture, wall hangings, large rooms, and a well planned layout. The property management company was very accommodating and helpful -- they were extremely cooperative with allowing us to check in a bit early, and they went out of their way to address a few questions we had about the hot tub. This is a great place to stay -- you won't be disappointed!

Park City Old Town Cottage 07 really isn't a cottage… It is a beautiful home that has recently been updated… Light, bright, beautifully furnished, kitchen is well stocked with all the things you would need! The beds are cozy and warm due to the quality of the linens provided. The home is across the street from the city park where my grandsons loved to play, and it's across the street from the Library bus stop, a quick ride into town or when the weather is suitable, a short walk to everything Park City has to offer: shopping, restaurants, ski lifts, you name it you can get there easily from here! Communicating with Mountain West Vacation Rentals was excellent! As our trip approached, we received a weekly email detailing a type of concierge service. We might be interested in. Rather than giving us all the information all at one time, it was parsed out in pieces that were easy to digest as we continued to plan our stay. We will be back!
