Perfect for our family of 5's first vacation!

This was a perfect location for us, close to Mt. Laconte and downtown Gatlinburg, but also away from crowds. It was a quiet and relaxing place to recover, when the activities of the day were done. I would absolutely stay here again, and we hope to next year. Everyone said their beds were very comfortable, and we spent a lot of time on back deck, watching baby turkeys follow their momma and playing cards. Thank you so much for renting us this lovely home!

Overall, we definitely enjoyed our stay at this home. The location is perfect if you enjoy spending lots of time pursuing activities in downtown Gatlinburg. The yard of the home is perfect for enjoying nature, fire pits and outdoor games! We had repeated visits from a family of bears!. They were so much fun to watch. We also enjoyed a few turkeys wandering on the property. The owners of this home are very easy to deal with and communication with them was top notch. The only reason I did not give this property a five star review is that the cleanliness of the interior as we arrived was VERY upsetting. The previous reviews always stated that the property was nicely cleaned, so we did find this odd. It was VERY MUCH an issue. It was such a problem that we considered leaving, until we discussed the problem with the owner. The owners were FANTASTIC and addressed our issues immediately. They tried to get to the root of why the property was not properly cleaned and they showed us that they understood our concerns and we felt validated. I also must say that the home itself needs some general maintenance overall, with certain aspects of functionality being a slight problem. These things, however, were easily overlooked due to the fact that the location of the home makes up for it. When a maintenance issue arose, the owners immidiately took care of the problem with ease and grace. We ended up enjoying our stay and will definitely return!
