situated close to charming villages of Provence Lauris and Lourmarin. The barn consists of 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom wc, living room with kitchen, covered terrace with dining area and lounge, swimming pool (5m x 11m)

The house is very quiet on a beautiful area of 2 ha with superb views of the vineyards and hills of the Luberon. You have a lovely covered terrace with BBQ and dining table. Very nice large pool next to the house equipped with a security alarm. Great beach around with nice views.
The land includes a lawn party, woodland, fruit trees in many beautiful plants and flowers! Everything is very friendly and charming! The true spirit of Provence ...

Absolute calm and tranquility for this charming house in the middle of the beautiful Luberon region. The house is located 2.5 km from the center of Lauris, a nice quiet village near Lourmarin. Great location to relax and explore this beautiful area (the villages of Luberon, numerous hiking, biking or horseback from home ...). About 30 min. of Aix-en-Provence, 40 min. Avignon, 20 min. Roussillon, Gordes ... etc

Gerard and Nette were fantastic hosts and we had a super holiday. Beautiful cottage in a tranquil spot. Best place ever to unwind. Already booked it agin for next year.

I'd ignore the daft one-star review as well. The house is excellent, clean, comfy, and it made for an excellent holiday. Plenty of space for us, a family of four, maybe the kitchen's a bit small, but not a major disadvantage. There is of course great stuff around this corner of France to see, but we felt very much at home, so did quite a bit of relaxing by the pool, which did us no harm whatsoever! Larger locations, such as Aix and Avignon, are perfectly accessible, as are all the pretty villages such as Lourmarin, Cucuron and Mirabeau.
The pool is lovely, as are the gardens. We did encounter some interesting wildlife, including four geckos sharing our outdoor ceiling, plenty of bats at dusk, and a very ugly toad, that the owners seemed quite attached to as an occasional visitor to the poolside! Their dog, Yop, was also an occasional companion, he took quite a liking to our daughters!
Gerard and Netty were the loveliest hosts, nothing was too much trouble, and they were not only excellent company, but also inobtrusive at the same time. They managed to find the ideal balance between making us feel welcome and giving us our space; they are just a very nice, genteel, genuine, couple. Thank you for that.
