About this cottage rental
Beach Area 1, main strip. just a 3 minute walk over to main strip; two bedrooms, full kitchen with full size fridge/stove w oven, microwave; all cooking utensils; TV; BBQ; picnic tables, lounge chairs; Each unit accommodates 8 people, reserving both sides would accommodates 16-17 people. The property was very clean and is close to beach 1 and Skull Island mini putt. The owner is very easy to contact. The only downside is the bbq - it doesn't work very well and is not maintained (we used a plaque on it and it was fine). Would definitely recommend.

The unit itself was very very clean, large, and a good place to rest our heads. With our party of 8, there could have been more of the basics, cups/glasses/cutlery as there was not enough to go around. The unit provides no hand soap, dish soap, paper towels, toilet paper, etc. in which I thought would have been basic essentials. With stores nearby all was overcome. Overall the host was always willing to help with our questions. This was a girls trip, and we did not always feel the safest. The area seems to be surrounded by rental properties. I would not book a rental in Beach area 1 again, but if you are, I would recommend this property. Thanks, Franca!
