Spacious 1 bedroom apartment with the great ocean view conveniently located in Hollywood. The apartment has 1,5 bathroom and sleeping area is comfortable for 5 people. There is a king size bed in master bedroom, queen side bed and sofa bed in leaving room.The apartment is very roomy, clean and has everything you need for a great vacation. This is ocean front resort with its private beach access. Pool is heated year round. Gym is located on the first floor at no additional charge. Great location with 7/11 across the road, cafe and restaurants within walking distance. At the resort guest pays extra $30 for FOB keys for each two adults and $100 for 1 week of parking. For short stays we have option of $10 per night. One guest must be at least 21 to make a reservation.

The Tides is a nice complex with well manicured landscaping, 2 great pools, private beachfront, and very friendly staff. There were some difficulties communicating with the owner of the condo due to VRBO because I had to change my email address and my reservation seemed to disappear. However, the owner did contact me by phone to assure me that our reservation was good, even refunded one night we had to cancel.
The check in/parking/checkout process was a bit confusing but the staff helped us. We’ve not stayed in a larger condo before, so it was all new to us.
Condo itself has an amazing balcony view and unit is spacious. It was nice to have both a full and half bath. The only drawback I’d say is the lack of good furniture. The sofa was small and the most uncomfortable I’ve ever experienced. The seating has almost no cushion to it-like sitting on a park bench. The wicker side chairs on the balcony were more comfortable. We spent our time out there enjoying the ocean view because we also had a hard time figuring out the tv. Lol. Nice large tv w/3 remotes, too.
Anyhow, this condo owner is new and did give us a great discount so we are perfectly fine. I’m sure she will upgrade the sofa as she goes.
It rained the 2 days we were staying there so we didn’t get to use the pools. The condo is close to Hollywood Beach with its walkway, restaurants, and entertainment. Overall this was a pretty great place to chill for a few days after coming back up from our week in the Keys.
