The island is so narrow that you can make it to the sea by bike from anywhere on the island! Explore Färjestaden and visit the windmills of Lerkaka and the ruins of Gråborg and Lenstad Borg. Likewise, don't forget to explore the vast World Heritage-listed limestone expanse and heath landscape of Stora Alvaret. Mörbylånga is also worth seeing. The Mörbylånga valley is one of Sweden's most fertile farming areas and was once a lake bed.
