Mountain Escape at Strawberry

K (host) was super communicative, easy check in and check out. Extremely clean. Snacks provided, full kitchen with pots and pans. Hot tub was clean. All linens and towels were clean. One bed was a regular spring bed, my hubby could sleep in - but it was a little too firm for me; but the guest room bed was like sleeping on a cloud. Lots of wild life and close to town. We will definitely book this rental again!

Location is great. Was hoping for cooler weather coming from the valley. Getting inside is super simple. Inside of the house was very clean and temperature was perfect when we arrived. Lots of board games to play. Our daughter didn't want to sleep in the 2nd room so the fold out couch was perfect for her to sleep closer to us. The shed outside with games had a lot of spiders and webs, grabbed a stick and cleared most of them out. Nice adjustable basket hoop, basketball was hard to bounce/dribble. Not sure if it was the old ball or asphalt. Jacuzzi was on and warmed 104. First night we used it and it was so warm out it doubled as a sauna. We thought we saw some big spiders and we verified that their indeed were lots of spiders. Night 2 we avoided the tub. We stayed here to visit fossil falls. The drive to the dirt road took about a half hour, absolutely stunning swimming spot. Clearest water we have ever swam in. We ate at That Brewery. Probably some of the worst food I have ever consumed, but their beer was good. I advise eating elsewhere. We saw 1 Javalina on property along with several blue jays and watched elk eat the neighbors horse feed. Over all it was a good stay.

Owner is a delight to work with. I appreciated her clear and expeditious communication. property is magnificent, activities plentiful, and would highly recommend!

Great location in Pine and lovely yard / property. We enjoyed playing basketball, s’mores on the fire, and the hot tub, also got to see some wildlife!
