About this house rental
Amazing location! Minutes to ski slopes (Jack Frost/Big Boulder less than 5 miles. 20 min to Camelback). Ride your bike to Lake Harmony and Split Rock Resort. Short drive to Hickory Run State Park.
Gorgeous gourmet chef kitchen with heated floors.
Relax in your first floor master bedroom with a private gas fireplace and spa like master bathroom.
Wood burning fireplace in the great room. Multiple decks / screened in porch.
The space
Beautiful rustic look and decor but you won't be "roughing it" with the high end furnishings and finishes.
Enjoy the indoor basketball hoop, dart board, foosball table and other board games in the loft. Sing your heart out in with the karaoke machine!
Relax on your front porch rockers or warm up by the fire pit in an Adirondack chair.

The full home and 2 acres of private wooded lot is your to use and explore!
Other things to note
Comforters, additional blankets, pillows will be provided. All mattresses will have mattress protectors. We can also arrange for linen rental for a small fee to include bath towels and all beds made prior to arrival.
Basic spices are available for use. All other food and condiments should be brought with you.
Plan to bring back up toilet paper and paper towels.
We cannot guarantee that firewood will be present during high season. Plan to bring firewood if you'd like to enjoy the fire pit.
We have 4 smart tv's with access to Netflix.

The house was very clean and had everything we needed. Even sheets and towels were provided. Check in and check out was easy and we enjoyed our stay very much! There was plenty of space for everyone to sit together or spread out. Beds were comfortable and there was lots to do in the area. We would stay here again.

The house was a great space for our two family vacation. Many games were played on the screened in porch- this may have been the selling point for why we picked this house and it did not disappoint. The hot tub was fantastic ( and thank you to Jason for responding so quickly to help us remedy a minor issue so that we could continue to enjoy it- communication was key!) Although we didn't have direct access to Lake Harmony, we made do with a day to Split Rock and to Hickory State Park to cool off. Plenty of room to be together yet have space in the house. As one of us said " not too many pictures because we were busy being present" ... Thank you April and Jason for Hosting!

This house was great. We were so sad to leave when the weekend was over. The house is beautifully decorated, spacious, and has everything you need. Super close to Jack Frost. Owners were very responsive to any questions we had. We will definitely stay here again!

This year our family decided to do something different for the holidays by having Christmas away. With family up and down the east coast, we decided to go to meet up in the mountains for a change of scenery and maybe some skiing. The skiing never took place, but it wasn’t even missed because we enjoyed just being in the house spending time together. It had everything we needed. There was plenty of space so no one was on top of each other, a kitchen full of all the dishes and top of the line appliances for preparing a fabulous Christmas Eve and Christmas dinner, and even a variety of games for additional entertainment. We brought bathing suits but never used the hot tub bc it was so cold out, but maybe next time - because we definitely plan on coming back! It even snowed our first night there and April was quick to reach out to see if she needed to send anyone to plow. This was a great find, a great house with everything we needed, a great location close to skiing, restaurants and the highway, great communication, and definitely a great getaway. 5 stars!
