Guests are delighted with the wildlife local to the area including: Harbor seals, bald eagles, otters, porpoises, and the occasional orca whales. The sound of waves and birds makes the perfect soundtrack for your getaway. Enjoy relaxing on the sun filled deck or check out the porch swing which is perfect for a good book or a nap after your day's adventures. Kayaks, fire pit, & propane fire table for sunset conversations. Mooring buoy for boats up to 34' in length is also available.

We had a wonderful, peaceful girls’ getaway this winter! The house was beautiful and right on the water where there were sea lions and bufflehead ducks. The owner was communicative and helpful with any questions we had. Definitely recommend!

Beautiful house right on Colvos Passage! Went swimming and my son even paddleboarded at sunset. The Orcas passed by in the evening.Enjoyed a wonderful time with family. Walked the beach and enjoyed visiting Olalla Bay Market. We contacted the hosts and they were very responsive.

I loved listening to the water as it lapped the shoreline. The house is large with windows to the water and islands.

Such a peaceful and beautiful place to relax and unwind! Spent hours just sitting on the deck and porch listening to the birds and the gentle sound of the waves. Saw seals everyday, deer that walked the beach, and dolphins across on the far side! On the clear nights (which was most of them!!), the stars and moon were just amazing! We took the kayaks out a couple of times ( pay attention to the wind/current forecast) and saw bald eagles when we paddled into the lagoon by the market. The house was perfectly set up for us and allowed us to have our own space and privacy. Loved all the windows facing the water and falling asleep to the sound of the waves! Beds were super comfortable and kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to cook meals. Yes, there are two flights of stairs down to the house and the downstairs shower is a bit small, but we are in our 60s and had no problems at all! We are already talking about returning for another stay!! Definitely recommend this place for folks wanting the beauty of nature and peace and quiet!!
