About this cottage rental
Welcome to Siamo Qui, a historic cottage on the north shore of Port Stanley Ontario with splendid view of lake Erie. Originally built in early nineteenth century(circa 1910). Occupied as a cottage until the late 1980's when owner undertook a restoration, expansion and modernization for use for himself and his extended family where they have gathered all seasons enjoying the beautiful surroundings above the picturesque village and the gracious amenities of this extraordinary property. The exterior, facing the lake rises two stories above the "finest veranda expanse on either shore of lake Erie", on which relaxation and entertainment is enjoyed. Ten minute walk to the village and to Little Beach.
On the main floor, the original living room & fine dining room, which easily accommodates twelve; spacious open kitchen from which flows a smaller dining area and a large family room. All additions to the building have been faithful to the original builders design; high ceilings, pine walls and flooring; bathroom, tub and shower, adjacent to kitchen area; three charming "cottage" type bedrooms.
Second floor; primary ensuite bedroom with a view of the lake which opens to an outdoor porch above the primary veranda; a second ensuite bedroom facing north.
Forced air heat and central air conditioning. Area has full municipal services.

Many worthy antiques, together with modern conveniences including kitchen and dining ware.

We all had an amazing stay - the house was perfect for our need. We enjoyed being inPort Stanley. The hosts were very responsive and everything was setup very nicely in the house. Very well appointed kitchen!!

We had a wonderful time at this property. Lots of things supplied, we had everything we needed, and the welcome gifts were great! Only negative at all was some of the furniture is aged. A few of the beds were either super squeaky, or very soft. The living room couches didn’t go over so well with those who have back issues in our group, very soft and cushions shift. Lots of space and parking. It is a great, unique property with a history. Would definitely come back.
