Vacation Apartment on the Market Square for 2–4 People

Welcome to our vacation rental on the market square in the Bavarian spa town of Bad Reichenhall, located between Berchtesgaden National Park and Salzburg, the city of Mozart, in Austria! Our vacation apartment is located at the end of the historic Poststraße complex, above a family-run craft business, right on the picturesque Rathausplatz. This square is part of the city’s pedestrian zone. Every Friday from 7.00-12.00, the weekly market takes place here, featuring a selection of regional products. Various events organized by Reichenhall’s RUFO and the city—such as the Asparagus Festival, City and Wine Festival, Craft Fair, and Christmas Market—invite vacationers and locals alike to enjoy a convivial get-together. City buses stop at Rathausplatz. The main train station and the Kirchberg train station are both a 10-minute walk away.
The light-filled kitchen-dining area is the perfect place to relax and enjoy yourself. It is fully equipped with a modern kitchenette, a capsule coffee machine, an electric kettle, a toaster, as well as spices, vinegar, oil, and numerous other kitchen utensils. The dining area, with a table and four chairs, is perfect for shared meals, while the comfortable two-seater leather couch invites you to linger and relax. The bedroom features two separate beds (100 x 200 cm), a dresser, and a coat rack to ensure a restful night’s sleep. For a third or fourth guest, there is a spacious living room with a cozy corner sleeper sofa (120 x 180 cm), a wardrobe, sideboards, and a flat-screen TV. An inviting entryway with a hallway and coat rack provides plenty of space for your personal belongings. Our small outdoor seating area overlooking the courtyard is at your disposal. Our vacation rental is a non-smoking apartment and is equipped with smoke detectors. Wi-Fi is available free of charge throughout the apartment. Pets are very welcome here! The vacation rental does not have a parking space, but upon request, we’d be happy to arrange a parking spot nearby for you. We look forward to welcoming you!
Our vacation rental is centrally located. The Reichenhall Art Academy is just a 2-minute walk away via Rathausplatz. The studios are located in the Alte Saline, an industrial landmark from the first half of the 19th century. The Alte Saline in Bad Reichenhall, as well as the salt mine in Berchtesgaden, offer exciting and informative insights into salt production in our region. With the “Grande Dame”—the world’s oldest aerial cableway—you can glide up to the local mountain, the Predigtstuhl, in 8.5 minutes and, from there, enjoy a breathtaking view of the valley basin, among other things, as well as go on short hikes. The valley station is about a 15-minute walk from the vacation rental. The Royal Spa Gardens offer oases of tranquility where you can breathe in the Alpine brine-rich air at the Gradierhaus open-air inhalatorium. The pedestrian zone begins right at Rathausplatz and, with its many cafes, restaurants, and shopping options, is perfect for a leisurely stroll. The Rupertustherme is easily accessible by city bus or on foot in about 15 minutes. With the guest card, you can use most buses and trains in the Berchtesgadener Land region.
