Rustic Log Cabin - Nestled in the trees perfect for privacy. A retreat awaits :)

We had an incredible stay at this property just outside Sundre for our golf trip. The setting alone is worth the visit—peaceful, scenic, and surrounded by beautiful Alberta landscape that made it easy to unwind after a full day on the course.The home itself was spotless, spacious, and perfectly set up for a group. Plenty of room to relax, comfortable beds, and a great common area where we could hang out in the evenings. The outdoor space was a highlight too—ideal for morning coffee or a drink after a round while taking in the views.Location-wise, it was a perfect base for golf. Close enough to several great courses, yet tucked away enough to feel like a true getaway. Everything we needed was provided, and the hosts clearly put thought into making the stay easy and enjoyable.Overall, this place exceeded expectations. If you’re planning a golf trip or just looking for a relaxing escape near Sundre, this property is a fantastic choice. We’d absolutely come back.

Everything was great. The property was great for our extended family gathering. Easy to get to and very clean. The listing said there was 7 bedrooms, but there was only 6.

10/10 highly recommend! Pictures can’t do justice how beautiful the log cabin and surrounding property is. As a large group, the numerous large gathering spaces throughout the home made for a very enjoyable and comfortable stay. The home was spotless and the amenities numerous, with many small thoughtful extra touches from the hosts (basket of house slippers, campfire wood, well stocked kitchen, extra beverage fridge, etc.). The hosts were very responsive and were even able to swing by late evening to help us with something. Special shoutout to the beautiful horses on the property whose corral wraps around three sides of the cabin so you can watch the horses through the windows during the day, as well as many beautiful birds on the birdfeeders. If you’re staying during their off-season (Oct-May) do note that one of the upstairs private bedrooms listed is unavailable.

Our hosts were fabulous to work with. They responded quickly to any questions and were very accommodating. The property was gorgeous! We would highly recommend for weddings or functions. The home had everything we needed and more. The beds were so COMFY! I don’t know if it was all the activities, the linens or what but we all slept so well. The kids had the best time and the home was beautifully decorated for Christmas. It was absolutely magical! We are first time users of VRBO and this was such a positive experience. We so hope the hosts will let us come back for our bi-annual family Christmas celebration. I don’t think you could find a better place to stay, enjoy the festive season and gorgeous atmosphere.
